I'm in a wheel chair and I have been now for 20yrs. I am a C4,C5
quadriplegic, meaning I'm paralyzed from the neck down, with a little bicep
movement in my arms but not enough to do anything with them. I type by using a
mouth wand and I have helper's that are my hands and feet.
I enjoy going camping and getting out and about on the nice days that we
do have around here. I thought that I would share with you some of my pictures
of me out camping and some others that are from around the area.
Like the laser show on the Grand Coulee Dam, Snoqualmie Falls, and a few
mountain shots. I hope that you enjoy.
The camping photo's were taken at Schaffer Creek campgrounds, on the
eastern side of Steven's Pass off of Highway 2 going north past Lake Wanatchee
and Fish Lake.

As you can see I sleep in a tent on a wide cot with added foam to bring the
height of the cot up to the height of my wheel chair to make the transfer a lot
easier on my help.

When we go camping we bring all of the comforts of home with us except the
television, or those types of luxuries, I bring the generator so I can charge my
chair for a few hours during the day.

This is Snoqualmie Falls on the western side of Snoqualmie Pass on I-90.

There is a real nice
restaurant here where you can enjoy your food and the falls at the same time.
There is also a nice observatory where you can get great pictures like
these while feeling the spray from the falls.
And I just have a couple more pictures to show. They're of the Grand
Coulee Dam at night while the laser show is playing. A full moon was rising just
as the show was starting. You can see a little bit of brightness in these
pictures where the moon is shining in the background.
