This is looking towards the ice cave at the base of Mount Big Four from
the road that leads to Coal Lake and Independence Lake trail heads. Also on the
mountain loop highway you pass the Mount Big Four turn off on the right then take the road
off to the left marked Coal Lake road keep to the right and you will see some very
wonderful sites.

The hike to the ice cave is one mile and is a pretty easy day hike.
It isn't handicapped accessible but near the parking area there are picnic tables
and a nice meadow with a great view of the mountain. For those of you that do make
the hike remember to NEVER enter the ice caves it is a glacier
that is melting and you never know when a part of the ice may break off or the cave may
collapse.

These falls are on the way up the Coal Lake road and are really neat to
listen to the roar of the water with the thick forest surrounding them.
