Voices

All the voices I hear
Seem to be calling her name
It hurts so much
I'm going insane

She got rid of one
And is on to another
Like a slap in the face
No way it can't bother

I watch the ice in my glass
As it melts away
The ice is like my heart
Every time she walks away

Can't say I love her
The word is not strong enough
I try my damnedest
But its so hard to be tough

Like the ink in this pen
I wish I could pour my heart out
If I don't soon tell her
I'm afraid of being shut out

There are people staring at me
But I'm not sure I care
All I can think about
Is us never being a pair
