Although Sifu Jurgens has been instructing Kung Fu for 11 years, it as only in 1991 that he started his own full-time Kung Fu school. Today Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi  Centre is a well established non-racist, non-sexist and non-religious organization that offers a variety of External and Internal and Weapons Styles. The Centre is affiliated to SA Kung Fu, now WUSHU, the MAA and the NSC, which means that you will be able to represent your province, and if selected, the country.
The Centre is also affiliated to USAWKF.

Kung-Fu The most often asked question is "What style of kung fu does the Centre teach?" The answer is simple: Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu. As the birth place of formal martial arts and a Centre of its development over the last 1500 years, Shaolin Temple encompasses all styles.
Students learn the basic stances, strikes, kicks and jumps and then the forms. 
Shaolin Kung-Fu Shaolin Kung-Fu has "Four Hits" which consist of punching, kicking, wrestling and capturing; "eight Skills" which consist of hand, eye, body, foot, spirit, breath, strength and power; and "Twelve Patterns" which consist of action, calmness, Leaping, falling, standing, positioning, turning, rotating, quickness, slowness, lightness and heaviness. These 24 elements give the Shaolin practitioner speed, power, coordination, perception, balance, flexibility, agility, accuracy, endurance, timing, and mental & physical strength.
Tai Chi Sifu Jurgens Teaches the Shaolin Tai Chi. Which is closer to the Chen Style.Originally known as the "Soft Fist" in Shaolin Temple. It is also believed that this style of Tai Chi influenced all The Rest Tai Chi Styles to follow Sifu Jurgens  (35th Generation Shaolin Fighting Monk Shi Hung Thung) teaches the original Shaolin Tai Chi Pure and unchanged. There are only a few teachers Qualified in this style and they are mostly Shaolin Fighting  Monks.
Kiddies Kung-Fu We offer kiddies kung fu for children under 11 years. The main focus is on the basic drills and elementary forms. It builds a child's discipline, focus and strength.
