Wednesday Night Impact

(The World Title Match of Micheal Cage and "The Eliminator" R.B. Burns is shown where "The Kid" Billy Rock puts his finisher on R.B. and covers a very badly hurt R.B. Burns with a dazed Micheal Cage. "I Just Wanna Rock And Roll...." by Kiss plays as the camera fades into an arena filled with fans. Signs are shown like: "The REAL Deal" and Billy "The Kid" is the New Sheriff in Town". The camera then pans down to ringside where Charlie Watkins and Terry Hogan sit.)

Charlie Watkins - Hello everyone and welcome to Impact. We've got some kind of show tonight. It seems that "The Kid" Billy Rock made quite a stir at ShockWave the other night.

Terry Hogan - Yes he did Char. He made his presence felt.

Charlie Watkins - He had no business interfering in that match. He was supposed to ref it.

Terry Hogan - Don't get all hyper on me now. He has a match today against Lucifer. We'll see if his attack was permissable.

Charlie Watkins - I doubt it. But we also have Grinnin versus The Brock. Both of these matches are first rounders in the Quasar Title Tourny.

Terry Hogan - Unlike before, The Brock is going to take this thing. I bet you he could do it blindfolded. The talent is no where near his capabilities. He will become....

(The fans start to cheer)

Charlie Watkins - What's going on?

Terry Hogan - Well, it looks like we won't have to wait much longer to hear the champ speak. Here he comes now.

Charlie Watkins - We weren't expecting this yet, but the champ looks like he is upset. I wonder what could be wrong?

(Micheal Cage comes out to the ring without any music. He is wearing street clothes. With him is the World Title and a gym bad. He has a displeased look on his face. He climbs in the ring and grabs a mic.)

Micheal Cage - Well, is this the only way that I can talk to you, Williams? You won't return my calls. You won't return my messages. What gives? I want some answers. What the hell happened on Sunday? Who told that punk that he could ref the match? Obviously, it was you. R.B., I don't know where you are, but I am sorry. That match wasn't supposed to happen that way.

(Cage then pauses and unstraps the World Title Belt from around his waist and holds it up in the air.)

Micheal Cage - You know, this is what every wrestler dreams about. One day earning the World Title. Many would kill to wear this title. They bust their chops day in and day out just to get a shot at the title. Then comes the day comes when they get there shot, and the ref counts 1...2....3..., every childhood memory flashes through your head and the emotions flow like a river of pride, hardwork, and love for the game. Only, when I won this title, all that was taken away from me. My moment was tainted. Needless to say, I got screwed.

(The fans start a chant of, "You got screwed!")

Micheal Cage - Most people wouldn't say that they got screwed after winning a World Title. Only I did. So Williams, if this is the way that you are going to handle things, I don't want any part of this federation.

(There is a long pause as the crowd picks up the "You got screwed!" chant.)

Micheal Cage - Williams, I have never done this before in my life. I haven't really been a quitter, but you have forced me to do this.

(There is another long pause.)

Micheal Cage - I QUIT!!!

(Cage drops the mic and exits the ring. He drops the belt at the timekeepers table and exits through the crowd.)

Charlie Watkins - Well, I have seen a lot of things, but I think I just wittnessed a first. Our champion just walked out on us, leaving his belt behind.

Terry Hogan - Well, maybe this way, we can finally get someone who deserves the belt as the World Champ.

Charlie Watkins - But what is Cage thinking? He is the World Champion, he can't just quit. Can he?

Terry Hogan - I don't know. I mean, he does have a contract.

Charlie Watkins - We'll have to find out about it later. We have a match between The Regulator and Dan "The Dan" Dan.

Terry Hogan - More preschool antics from Dan I assume.

Charlie Watkins - We'll have to see.

Bret "The Regulator" Real vs. Dan "The Dan" Dan

Anna Dea - This match is a Standard Match. On his way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 285, Bret "The Regulator" Real!!! (crowd cheers ******)

["Regulate" by Warren G plays as The Regulator makes his way down to the ring. ]

["Let's Rock" by Smash Mouth begins to play as Dan "The Dan" Dan comes down to the ring. He is carrying his "training ball" which in reality is a bowling ball. Real checks out the ring. The Dan tests out the ropes. (ring, ring, ring) Real short-arm clotheslines Dan "The Dan" Dan to the mat. The Real Deal stomps Triple D's head. Bret "The Regulator" Real covers Dan hooking the leg. Charlie Watkins - Real should have known he wouldn't win the match with that.

Charlie Watkins - But I'll deal with you later. Looks like we have company.

[Making his way out of the backstage area, Nomad takes a look out into the crowd, only to be met by horrendous cheers. Outfitted in combat boots, cutoff jean shorts, and a SWL t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off, Nomad makes his way down the aisle with a stern look on his face. Fans reach out to touch the wrestling superstar, but Eric pays them no mind as he continues his determined march down to ringside. Once on the apron, Eric looks out into the crowd, lifting his head in a rather cocky manner. The crowd responds with even louder cheering. Nomad calls for a microphone and then makes his way to the center of the ring.]

Eric Nomad - SWL fans...Are you ready for the man who's so tough you could use his ass to sand a deck... The man who's body is so goddamn built that shirts rip if I even think about flexin'... The man that's so fearless he'd look at Terry Hogan's momma? ARE YOU READY FOR ERIC NOMAD?!?!

[The crowd continues to roar for a couple minutes, then begins to quiet down when Nomad readies himself to speak.]

Eric Nomad - I gotta send a message to one of my co-workers, so lend a listening ear to the baddest son of a b*tch ever to grace the SWL!

[The crowd begins chanting, "Nomad...Nomad...Nomad."]

Eric Nomad - Billy Rock... you think you can just storm into this fed and start deciding who gets to wear the heavyweight championship belt? Do you really think some farm boy with no real wrestling experience can even begin to comprehend the blood, sweat, and tears necessary to EARN that title? ...Son, you haven't got a chance when it come to lighting up the squared circle with someone like "THE MAN" Eric Nomad!!! If you ever step in here with me, you'll immediately wonder if you've grown a third ass cheek, or if it's just the triple decker sh*t cake you made when you looked into the fear inspiring face of ERIC NOMAD! You may as well go buy yourself a pair of shorts with "This space for rent" written where a belt would be, cuz if you think your gonna get that...

(speaking slowly and loudly as if every word requires massive effort to spit out)

SWL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP as long as Eric Nomad's here, you're sorely mistaken b*tch! Go back to doinkin' sheep on the ranch and send Nicole over to my place so I can make a woman out of her, ya goddamn hick! I bet she'd like to know what a man feels like after being with "The Kid" for so long...(laughing) or should I say SO SHORT? ...and if ya still don't quite understand...if ya still just can't quite comprehend the big words I'm using...I'm gonna be nice and give ya my last words in sign language!"

[Nomad puts his hands up in front of himself and extends both middle fingers. He then tosses the mic out of the ring, raises his arms triumphantly and basks in the cheers momentarily before making his way backstage.]

Charlie Watkins - It looks as though "The Kid" Billy Rock has made enemies here in the SWL.

Terry Hogan - He's been here a week, and people jump all over him just because he was doing what he had to do? That's just not right.

Charlie Watkins - You think that he did the right thing? He ruined a man's dream of winning the title with no complications.

Terry Hogan - It's over. One man made good, and the other wears the belt. It's as simple as that.

Grinnin vs. The Brock

["Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol plays as Brian Williams makes his way out to the ring. He is accompanied by Steph. They both walk over to the announcer table and take a seat. Steph gives a slight wave and a giggle to all the fans as she sits down.]

Brian Williams - Hey Charlie and Terry. How are you two today?

Terry Hogan - Fine thanks. You ready for the next match to begin?

Brian Williams - Couldn't be more excited. I want to see this man in action. Especially after what he did last Sunday. It wasn't fair, but he got into the action a little bit. Who can blame him?

Charlie Watkins - Your siding with him?

Brian Williams - No, just letting it slide. I can tell you one thing. He will never ref another match until he has proved to me that he can handle it.

Lucifer vs. "The Kid" Billy Rock

[Kid knees Lucifer and rolls back to his feet. Lucifer gets up. Lucifer forearm smashes "The Kid" Billy Rock. Lucifer runs and tackles Kid. Lucifer punches him in the head. Kid delivers a short-arm clothesline to Lucifer. Billy stomps Lucifer.]

Charlie Watkins - So how is "The Eliminator" R.B. Burns?

Brian Williams - Last I heard, he was still in the hospital. He went there right after the event on Sunday. In fact, I stopped by last night to check on him. I'm afraid to say it, but he didn't look like he was doing well.

Charlie Watkins - Well, we all hope for the best. This is his how he makes a living. It would be horrible to see his career ended.

[Billy Rock grabs Lucifer and applies an arm wrench. "The Kid" Billy Rock measures Lucifer up and drops a closed fist. Lucifer is back on his feet. Swinging Neck-Breaker from Lucifer takes Kid down. ]

Terry Hogan - I wish every match could be like this!

Brian Williams - In the SWL, they can be.

[Lucifer stomps Billy. ]

Charlie Watkins - Stomp!

Terry Hogan - So what did you think of the flowers last week?

Brian Williams - They were harmless. Just some fan who has a thing for my girl. No big deal.

Charlie Watkins - I can't believe you started Stars Wrestling Limited just for her.

Brian Williams - (looks at Steph) Yeah, it is just my way of telling her how much I love her.

["The Kid" Billy Rock uses a closed fist on Lucifer. Lucifer shoulder tackles The Kid.]

Terry Hogan - So, Steph, are you excited about what Brian has done for you?

Steph - Yeah. He really has been great to me. Thank you, by the way. This is great.

Brian Williams - No problem.

[Now Lucifer standing. Rock slaps Lucifer in the face. Lucifer takes The Kid down with a knee. The Kid is up again. Lucifer side slams The Kid. Lucifer stands up. Lucifer low blows Billy Rock. A security man comes over to the announcers table and hands Brian Williams an envelope.]

Terry Hogan - What's it say?

[Brian reads it and sets it down. He gets a stunned look. Brian stands up, takes Steph's hand, and they walk up the ramp and out of the ringside arena.]

Terry Hogan - You must have said something!

[Now Billy Rock standing. Billy Rock kicks Lucifer in the stomach. Rock measures Lucifer up and drops a closed fist. Lucifer takes "The Kid" Billy Rock off his feet with a short-arm clothesline Rock runs and tackles Lucifer.]

Charlie Watkins - Well, he left it here.

Terry Hogan - I'm going to read it.

Charlie Watkins - It's private!

Terry Hogan - Nothing is private in the SWL. Hmmm... Okay, here we go:

[Lucifer executes a belly-to-belly suplex on Kid. Lucifer sucks chants start in the crowd. Kid moves back to his feet. Lucifer executes a back breaker on The Kid. They head back into the ring. Kid piledrives Lucifer. Lucifer gets back to his feet. Kid lifts Lucifer and delivers a back breaker.]

Charlie Watkins - Looks like he has it all wrapped up now.

[Billy Rock stares at The Regulator right before he goes for a Suplex, but turns it into a DDT. It's The Cutting Edge! "The Kid" Billy Rock goes for a pin. The ref starts the count. ...1 ...2 ...3]

Anna Dea - The winner of this match, "The Kid" Billy Rock!!!

[The Regulator gives a slight smirk and turns around and exits.]

Charlie Watkins - I wonder what that stare was for?

Terry Hogan - Probably to let Bret know that that could happen to him if he got in The Kid's way.

[Micheal Cage comes back through the crowd and into the ring with his belt that he left at the table. He nails "The Kid" Billy Rock with it.

Terry Hogan - I thought he quit?

Charlie Watkins - Maybe it was just one last good-bye?

[Micheal Cage leaves his belt on top of "The Kid" who is out cold. Cage leaves the arena through the crowd.]

Charlie Watkins - Now, maybe Justice has prevailed.

Terry Hogan - Yeah, by taking a cheap shot at Rock. Bad move by Cage. You know he is going to get hell for that.
