Charlie Watkins - Hello fans.  We are just one week away from StarGate.

Terry Hogan - And you know things are going to go down tonight.  It just wouldn't be Stars Wrestling Limited without a little shake up here and there.

Charlie Watkins - We've got an overflowing card for you tonight.  The World Champion, Grinnin, will take on the Quasar Champion, The Vindicator in what could be a World Title Match.  We've got their opponents next week facing off in The Kid and Micheal Cage.

Terry Hogan - Watch for something to happen in that match.

Charlie Watkins - The next match I don't quite understand.  I mean, we were told at the end of the last show that Lawrence Rhodes was suspended.  Maybe the people backstage don't know what's going on.

Terry Hogan - He's suspended people.

Charlie Watkins - We also have three other matches as the Brooklyn Bombers square off against Los Rudos, Dreamcatcher is taking on Janus, and MOB Squad is going against Rampage.

Terry Hogan - Should be a good night.

(The arena rumbles as the hum of "Neckbone" by Powerman 5000 begins.)

Charlie Watkins - Looks like we are getting started already.

("The Kid" Billy Rock walks into the aisle looking strictly business.  His hair is tied back into three braided pony tails.  He's wearing a sleeveless Regulators shirt and a pair of black and white Adidas track pants.  Anna Dea hands him the microphone on the outside before he climbs into the ring...)

The Kid - Stargate is only one week ahead!  I could be cliche, come out here and tell you that I hope you're prepared for The Kid, Grinnin, but the truth behind that is that you can't be prepared!  There's no possible way that your mind, body, or soul can possibly give one another enough of themselves to form so much as guess about what lurks at Stargate!  But on to other topics for a little bit.

I'm standing alone tonight because I need to aim my undivided attention toward one thing.  Bret and Vindicator are my best friends, but I can't pass this microphone around and listen to their problems right now. Tonight the stick is mine.  And tonight, Michael Cage ... YOU are mine!

The Kid - History will come full circle.  Once again I will nail your shoulders to the mat, and with no title on the line, with not a single insecurity swimming through my body, the decision will stand.  The Kid doesn't hunt for shortcuts anymore.  I don't need anything to beat you except the desire to do it!  And the passion is there tonight.  Don't expect to get any relief from this losing tradition of yours.

The Kid - If you came to see Cage walk through The Kid tonight, then you might as well empty your seat right now!  And Cage, not only am I going to deliver this assault on behalf of my own damned self, I'm doing this with my friend the Vindicator on my mind.  You think you've made his life Hell? Charlie Watkins - Looks as though Billy Rock still hasn't forgotten the events that happened at Prevailing Justice just under eight months ago.

Terry Hogan - No, it doesn't look like he has.

Charlie Watkins - Now before we bring all of you at home into this weeks ShockWave, we had a few new signees who wrestled their first match in the SWL tonight.

(Film is shown of the matches.  A deep voice is heard interpreting the matches)

Diablo’s debut in the SWL put him up against ring veteran Johnny Wonderful. Punches and kicks were mainly on the menu for this match-up with both wrestlers taking the upper-hand several times.  The fans, who took an immediate liking to Diablo saw him pick up his first win by executing his finishing move, “Hell’s Fury”, on Wonderful and then easily covering the worn out veteran for the 1 – 2 – 3.

(November Rain by Guns & Roses plays over the PA system, after its been going for a minute, and gets to the heavy guitar, Steve Duncan steps out from behind the curtain, too near silence from the fans, he picks up a mic and begins to speak)

Steve Duncan - This is for all you Fat...Out of Shape...Pennsylvania PISSANTS!

(Steve pulls of his polo shirt, flexes, then kisses his bicep, fans go off on a chorus of boos, as Steve is slowley walking torwards the ring)

Duncan - I know, I know, you don't like what I said, but who the hell are you guys to to tell me what to say...

(More boos)

Duncan - Shut the Hell Up!

(Steve runs and slides into the ring.)

Star had the task of facing another newcomer to the SWL, Steve Duncan. Star immediately took control of the match and seemed to be showing Duncan the ropes by executing a plethora of moves.  After whipping Duncan into the corner, Star’s success started going to his head as he turned his back on Duncan and began playing the crowd.  When he turned around to resume his attack, a recuperated Duncan was right there waiting for Star.  Duncan caught the surprised Star with his Stevie Kick and quickly covered him for the count of three, much to the crowd’s chagrin.
 

Tank took on the third newcomer of the night, Rizzo.  A decorated star in other feds, Rizzo made his debut as an unknown in the SWL – but quickly had the crowd buzzing with a wide assault of aerial and power moves.  Tank looked less than impressive in this match as he was suffering from a bad case of the stomach flu.  Rizzo never let up on Tank and controlled the
match from bell to bell when he finally ended the onslaught with a one-two combo of a top-rope Gargoyle suplex followed by his finisher, a top-rope guillotine leg-drop he likes to call RimJob!  Rizzo hooked the leg to ensure the pin and Tank was just happy the match was over as he quickly got out of the ring and made his way to the back, all the while holding his stomach in
what seemed like a lot of pain.

Micheal Cage - Why don't you show some respect. I am the man who kept this franchise going. When everybody else
bailed, I stayed. And when the federation re-opened who was the first at the doors to be let back in?

(Cage walks to the other side of the ring)

Cage - You fans feel it nessacary to cheer for scum. Yes, I'm talking about that Kid Rock wanna be, Billy Kidd. The man has screwed so many people in this league including myself.

(Cage leans over the ropes and looks straight at the camera)

Cage - The way I see it Rock, is that we got unfinished buisness. I have waited along time for this. I asked and asked and even begged for this match but no one would give it too me..... FINALLY I will step into those ropes as will you and we will finally finish this buisness. IF you have the guts to leave your Regulators in the back and fight like a man.... Which brings me to The Vindicator.

Vindicator - Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah.  Man!  Doesn't that mouth ever get tired of flapping?  Cage I've heard you talking all your smack. Let's see less talk and more action!

Vindicator - You know Mikey, in order for that to happen you actually have to PIN me to the mat and so far you haven't
quite been able to do that.

(Vindicator slowly begins walking to the ring)

Cage - That shouldn't be a problem and in case you have forgotten you haven't pinned me either.

Vindicator - But if remember correctly the score Vindicator 3 Cage 0.  If you could make it through a match without doing
something to disqualify yourself, I would have pinned you ALL three times!

Anna Dea - Ladies and Gentlemen, due to his current suspension 'Luscious' Lawrence Rhodes will be unable to compete in this matchup. Therefore the referees decision ... and the winner of this match by walkover, is Nathan McGrath.

Charlie Watkins - But he's suspended, what's he doing here?

[Rhodes walks out from the back. He's dressed in indigo jeans and jean jacket and timberland boots. His head is covered by a blue 'Astros' baseball cap. Rhodes stands at the entrance and looks out into the crowd.]

Rhodes - Not so fast, McGrath. You ain't getting a win over the Luscious one that easy.

[McGrath begins to gesticulate, as "Gentleman" Tom Jones argues with the referee.]

Rhodes - You all think that the SWL can suspend me, just like that. Well you'd better all think again. Cause there aint a man, woman, beast that can tell me what to do.

[Medium pop from the fans.]

Rhodes - McGrath you'd better be ready for this cause after I've said what I've gotta say I'm coming down there to kick your 280lb ass.

[Another medium size pop.]

Rhodes - So 'Luscious' Lawrence Rhodes has been suspended for drug abuse. The SWL actually thinks that I have to go down that route to be a winner. Rhodes can't cut it without stimulating his very being. Well I think not.

[Rhodes begins to pace as he talks.]

Rhodes - Just over a month ago, the Luscious One didn't feel quite right. You see I couldn't concentrate, I was sweating like a goddam pig,  I was coughing, but still I came to work, to put my body on the line. Night after night the Luscious One put the SWL before himself. Turning in the performances that really my body couldn't backup. Then what 'appens? Tommy Havock  comes out 'ere and says Lawrence Rhodes has 'Valley Fever'. He shouldn't be wrestling. He's a danger to ever competitor 'ere in the SWL. They should lock him in a contamination chamber. Havock, I've gotta give it to ya ... your very clever. Alienate Rhodes ... that way you protect your Spotlight belt. They ain't gonna give a shot to a man on his sick bed. To a man who is risking the very livelihood of every SWL superstar ... are they Havock?

[Rhodes continues to pace.]

Rhodes - You see, Lawrence Rhodes was ill. Lawrence Rhodes had Coccidioidomycosis, or to use Havocks diagnosis, Valley Fever. Yes the Luscious One had Valley Fever, but and it's a big but, the damn thing ain't contagious. Do you hear me Havock, Kid Rock, Vindicator ... and any other moron who was calling for me to be struck off the roster. Vallet Fever ain't contagious. I just needed a rest. A couple of weeks off, bed rest, a bit of TLC ... then the Luscious One would be back, ready to kick your ass.

[Rhodes continues to pace.]

Rhodes - But do you realise the worst thing about this illness? The thing that even now grates on the Luscious One. Well. it's the fact that I dropped my guard. Lawrence Rhodes allowed Tommy Havock to run roughshod right through me. I was disorientated, not at the goddam races and I allowed Havock to make a complete fool of me. So I'm gonna say this ... [A tall wispy man steps out from the back. He is dressed in a dark, navy double breasted suit. He wears rather large glasses and is carrying a paper file.]

Rhodes - Mr Garratt has been in negotiations over the last couple of days. He has proof that Lawrence Rhodes was set up, and that the Luscious One did not knowingly take a band substance.

[Rhodes paces as Garratt stands in the aisle. Rhodes stops, smiles and hands the mic to Angus Garratt.]

Lawrence Rhodes will be offered the same standing within the SWL as every single member of the roster ... without prejudice. Lawrence Rhodes will be offered a full enquiry, so that all the evidence attributing to this case can be presented. [Crowd pop.]

Grinnin - Cut the music and you pathetic people out there can shut the hell up cause the SWL's most notorious man has a few issues to address.

[The crowd goes nuts in obsenities and boos and Grinin merely sneers at them before speaking again]

Grinnin - First of all about my match tonight.  My NON-title match against little V.  Well Vindy, I am so sure that you aint gonna win tonight that I will put this up for grabs.  Thats right, you have yourself a title shot. Try not to blow it.

[Again the ctowd explodes, this time in cheers at thought of a Regulator beating Grinnin for the belt.  Even Steph looks a little surprised by the announcement]

Grinnin - Surprised are we people?  Big deal, it doesn't take much to surprise you anyways.  Don't let this go to your head though little V because the Grinman is going to beat you bloody and stupid, wait a minute, your already stupid, so I guess I will just beat you bloody.  Just one little question V.  Have you checked out any mental facilities lately? [The first strands of "Sad but True" by Metallica begin to echo throughout the arena.  The fans reaction is immediate and ferocious as the explode in a chorus of boos and most of the fans are waving anti Grinnin signs.  The music pauses briefly and as it does a huge pyro goes off in front of the entrance and fireworks go off around the arena and as the flames die down in
front of the entrance Grinnin steps out through the flames and into the spotlight with Steph right behind him.  The music kicks in again and Steph steps up beside Grinnin and together they begin to walk towards the ring area.  Grinnin is wearing his traditional wrestling attire, black wrestling tights and boots with the word "Gobsmacker" running down his left leg in electric blue letters.  He has the SWL World Title wrapped around his waist and has a pair of shades on his face.  Steph is wearing a black tube top
t-shirt, tight black jeans and all of it easily shows off her perfect body. They get to the ring and Grinnin rolls in under the bottom rope while Steph climbs up the ring stairs and climbs in the ring.  Grinnin takes off his shades and the belt and hands both to Steph, scowls out at the crowd and gets ready for the bell.  Steph quickly gives Grinnin a kiss on the cheek and then climbs back out of the ring]

[A giant V appears on the Jumbo Tron and the lights go out. "My Own Prison" by Creed begins to play as green lasers light the arena and the Vindicator can be seen in the entryway. [The Vindicator gets up. Vindicator takes Grinnin down with a knee. Grinnin moves back to his feet. Grinnin delivers a kick to the head of Vindicator. The Vindicator uses a closed fist on Grinnin. Vindicator delivers a clothesline to Grinnin. The Vindicator grabs Grinnin and applies an arm wrench. Vindicator measures Grinnin up and drops a closed fist. Vindicator moves back to his feet. Grinnin side slams The Vindicator. Grinnin sucks chants start in the crowd. ]

Charlie Watkins - If Grinnin keeps using moves like that Side slam he could win the match!

[Now Grinnin standing. Grinnin drags The Vindicator to the floor. Kevin Mills starts the count (.1) ]

Charlie Watkins - What an outstanding match!

[(..2) Grinnin knees Vindicator and rolls back to his feet. Vindicator stands up. (...3) Grinnin tackles The Vindicator. Grinnin stands up. The Vindicator gets back to his feet. Grinnin delivers a spine buster to The Vindicator. ]

Charlie Watkins - The Vindicator takes a Spine Buster.

[They fight into the aisle. (....4) (.....5) Cage runs down as Grinnin lets him go at The Vindicator.]

Charlie Watkins - Hey!  Is that legal?!  Cage isn't in this match!

Terry Hogan - Chill!  Let them just go at each other for a while.

Charlie Watkins - But Grinnin now has time to rest up while The Vindicator is getting hammered away at by Cage.

[Grinnin slides back into the ring (....6) and watches Cage and Vindicator go at it in the aisle.  (....7) Bret Real and Billy Rock run out from the entrance and start pummeling Cage.]

Charlie Watkins - The Regulators are here!  The Regulators are here!

[Vindicator gets free (....8) and slowly makes his way back to the ring and slides in]

Terry Hogan - Finally we can get back to the match.

[Real and Cage are duking it out  at ringside]

Charlie Watkins - Vindicator takes a Fist drop.

[Grinnin moves back to his feet. The Vindicator moves back to his feet. The Vindicator kicks Grinnin in the stomach. Grinnin stands up. Grinnin connects with a flying knee. The Vindicator goes down. The Vindicator is back on his feet. Grinnin grabs his hand and flips him to the mat. Grinnin measures The Vindicator up and drops a closed fist. ]

Terry Hogan - Grinnin with a Fist drop.

[Grinnin moves back to his feet. Grinnin covers The Vindicator hooking the leg. Kevin Mills counts the pin. ...1 ...2 The Vindicator escapes. ]

Charlie Watkins - You just can't win this early in a match. Especially with an opponent like Vindicator.

[Now Vindicator standing. Vindicator forearm smashes Grinnin. The Kid folds up a chair that he found at ringside.]

Terry Hogan - Grinnin takes a Forearm Smash.

[The Vindicator tackles Grinnin. Grinnin stands up. Grinnin kicks Vindicator in the back of the leg. Vindicator spears Grinnin. Grinnin gets back to his feet. Grinnin drives a forearm into the head of The Vindicator. Grinnin reverse DDT's The Vindicator's head into the mat. Grinnin executes a gut-wrench powerbomb on The Vindicator. Grinnin dives head first into Vindicator. Now Grinnin standing. He turns around.  CLANG!]

Charlie Watkins - Billy Rock just squashed Grinnins face in with a chair!

[ring, ring, ring! Kevin Mills calls for the bell. The Vindicator was disqualified.]

Terry Hogan - Okay, now I am confused.  You guys have gotten me officially confused.  I'm not confused about the match, as Grinnin takes the win, but.... oh boy.

Charlie Watkins - The Vindicator has the same feelings.

[The Vindicator has backed into a corner with a puzzled look as Billy Rock and Grinnin are brawling in the ring.  Bret Real is watching this go on after chasing Cage up the aisleway.  Kid throws Grinnin out as he turns around the The Vindicator.  They begin talking.]

Terry Hogan - Okay, I am beginning to get it now.  Why would Billy Rock ruin his fellow Regulator's chance at the title?

[The Kid smiles, pats The Vindicator on the shoulder and leaves the ring.  He passes right by Bret without even acknowledgning him.  Bret Real looks at The Kid walking out and The Vindicator in the ring.]

Charlie Watkins - Bret Real seems confused too.  He seems to wonder where he stands.

Terry Hogan - Not a good time for there to be confusion with StarGate just a week away.
