Charlie Watkins - And Janus moves on.  It's going to be Wrecking Crew versus Regulators in the final of tonights
"mini-tournament".

Brian Williams - Grinnin, are you listening?  This goes out to you.  Next week, you will take on the loser of the final of our little mini-tournament here tonight.  So it's either The Vindicator or Janus.  Next week I will evoke some more stipulations based on who wins or loses.  You better be ready.

Brian Williams - Attitude Adjuster and Johnny Spades. I know that I can find a suitable owner besides either one of you.  And believe me, I would love to have that chance.  I DARE you to give it to me. This begins my retribution.  I'm taking this into my own hands.  In the words of Grinnin, you all will get SMACKED!!!

Charlie Watkins - And The Vindicator moves on in The Shooting Star Tournament.  And it looks like Grinnin will be taking on Janus next week.  THAT will be fun.

[Suddenly, two men attack the two Wrecking Crew members with crowbars.  The two men are wearing black jeans and what
appear to be black Dogmen shirts.]

Terry Hogan - It's the DOGMEN!

[The two Dogmen attack The Wrecking Crew with crowbars and handcuff the two WC members to the steel frame thats holds
the Jumbotron up.  Paddy Doyle picks up the microphone that he brought out with him.]

Paddy Doyle - Last week, we made our debut here in the SWL as a tag team only to have our big chance against the tag
champions taken away from us by these thugs. Well tonight, we're taking that chance back. Seeing as how Grinnin and Spades
look a little tied up at the moment, we will gallantly take their place in tonight's match up against No Limit

Terry Hogan - Somehow these two won this withouth even being in the match.

[Attitude Adjuster and Janus run down to the ring and start in on No Limit and The Dogmen.  While this is going on, The
Vindicator and Lawrence Rhodes come out on the ramp with chairs.]

Terry Hogan - Janus and Attitude Adjuster better turn around, it looks like Spades and Grinnin are going to be hurting in the
morning.

[Attitude Adjuster sneaks a peak at what is happening and runs at The Vindicator and Rhodes.  Justin Arcola comes out of the
entrance to meet him.  The two trade blows and fight out into the audience.]

Charlie Watkins - Things aren't looking good for the Crew right now.

[Vindicator and Rhodes nod at each other and they each slam Grinnin and Spades respectively with the chairs.  They then
leave.  The men in the ring continue fighting.]

Charlie Watkins - Welcome from Dallas, Texas.  We have a huge show tonight as we have no less than NINE matches on the card, which means that we have to get going or we are never going to get this thing done.

Terry Hogan - But just so you guys know what to look forward to, the tournament continues with The Vindicator and 3 yet to be named wrestlers.

Charlie Watkins - And you can't forget President Williams' plan to dismantle The Wrecking Crew.  Janus is taking on Grinnin while Attitude Adjuster is taking on Johnny Spades for the Quasar Title.

Terry Hogan - Williams thinks this will stop The Wrecking Crew?  I don't think so!

Charlie Watkins - Ah, I don't know.  I really think he knows what he's doing.

(Skillets "Locked in a Cage" blares over the PA system as Micheal Cage walks out of the entrance and down to the ring.)

Terry Hogan - Well look who we have here.

Charlie Watkins - What is HE doing out here?

(Cage is decked in the blue and White warm-ups as he climbs into the ring and grabs a mic, the crowd continues to boo Cage)

Micheal Cage - Shut up, the most (in a mocking voice) overrated wrestler in SWL has something to say...

Charlie Watkins - Fans, recently Cage was voted as the most Overrated wrestlers in the SWL.

Cage - For starters how the h*** can I be overated. I haven't been given the chance to prove myself lately. I have been busting my chops night in and night out for this d*** company. And I have gotten treated like crap... I have given my blood sweet and tears for this company and no body seems to care. Williams doesn't care, the Regulaters don't care, and you people don't care. You have no morals anymore. You back scum like Billy Rock. At one point you hated him and I was your hero. You turned on me at the drop of a hat.

(Micheal Cage stops and walks around the ring as the fans boo him and one fan even throws a drink at Cage)

Cage - Which brings me to my next point. The ever so present backstage politics. Where the guys who deserve to be in the spotlight are held back while scum like Billy Rock defend the title what once ever 30 days just so he can hold the belt. When I had it, I defended it every chance I got.  I was the very definition of a fighting champion. Rock is probably back home of course 100% healthy. Lets get a champ who will bring glory back to the title. What else? Brian Williams is playing favorites. Look at how he babys the Regulaters and treats the Wrecking Crew. The crew gets treated like crap. While the Regulaters can do no wrong. Case in point, Billy Rock never ever defending the title that guys like me, RB Burns, and Bret Real fought so hard to bring honor too. Vindicator, was hand picked to be the next superstar. And who created him...ME, without me Vindicater would have been nothing. Number three...

("Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol plays as Brian Williams walks out still on crutches.)

Brian Williams - Cage, I try my best to put on a great show every week, and here you are wasting mine and the viewers time.  I have a ton of things to do, and the least of which is worry about you.  So I ask, are you done yet?  Because we need to get this program moving.

(Cage doesn't say anything as he leans across the top rope and stares at Williams)

Brian Williams - Okay, since you decide to finally shut up, I have a question for you.  The last couple weeks, all you have done is slam me and the way I handle Stars Wrestling Limited.  Do you have a problem with the way I run my federation?

Cage - No offense Brian, but I could run this federation better than you are right now.

Brian Williams - How so?

Cage - Really, how so?

Brian Williams - For starters all wrestlers would be the same no difference between how the Regulaters and the Wrecking Crew are treated. All would be fair. Champions would defend there titles and if they couldn't then they would be stripped and their titles would be awarded to someone who would defend the title.

Brian Williams - Like you?

Cage - For starters, yeah.

Brian Williams - Well you know what, Cage?  I have a whole lot going on right now and I don't want to have to deal with you as well.  So if this will shut you up, I'll tell you what I am going to do.  Until further notice, you, Micheal Cage, The Franchise of the SWL will have booking power over all non-Shooting Star Tournament matches.  The tourny is already laid out and I don't want you screwing that up.

(Cage's eyes get real big as the words come out of the Presidents mouth)

Cage - Are you serious? You're gonna give me full booking power of the matches.

Brian Williams - Except the Tournament, yes.

Cage - And I can make whatever match I want to?

Brian Williams - Yes, the ball is in your court until further notice.

("Rebel Yell" begins to play as Williams turns around to walk back to the back but he stops and turns around to look at Cage one more time)

Brian Williams - One more thing Franchise, tonights matches remain the same. Your power doesn't start untill next week.

("Rebel Yell" continues as Williams walks through the curtain. In the ring micheal rolls out of the ring and walks to the back with a shocked look on his face)

Charlie Watkins - Well I didn't expect that to happen.  Williams giving full booking power to Micheal Cage of all people.

Terry Hogan - I wonder what Cage is going to do with that?

Charlie Watkins - Next week we shall find out.  But we really need to get started.  We now have...

[The first strands of "Sad but True" by Metallica begin to play throughout the arena and as the music pauses a huge pyrotechnic display goes off in front of the main entrance way and as this happens four huge electric blue fireworks displays explode in all four corners of the arena. Just as the music kicks in and the flames are beginnin to die down Grinnin appears in the entranceway. He has on a deadly expression on his face that is mean enough to make rusty nails shiver in fear. He is wearing a black Wrecking Crew t-shirt, a pair of faded blue jeans and a black Toronto Blue Jays cap on his head backwards. He slowly stalks to the arena completely ignoring all the fans reaching out to touch him and when he reaches the ring he calmly rolls in under the bottom rope and holds his hand out to Anna Dea who was getting ready to introduce the first match. She hands him the mic with a small smile and for a brief second Grinnin's expression softens but as he turns to face the crowd it goes rock hard again. He brings the mic to his mouth and begins to speak]

Grinnin - Hello Dallas. I would ask how you are but you know what? I dont give a damn. You see, the Grinman has something else on his mind tonight. The Grinman has to worry about a rather stupid SWL executive trying to throw tire iron in my plans. I wont bore you all with whom it is because only Brian Williams is stupid enough to attempt something of this kind on his own.

[At the mention of Brian Williams the fans all start to cheer uncontrollably for about ten seconds before Grinnin can speak again]

Grinnin - Whatever. Your cheers for such a cheap, stupid man says much about the intelligence of the crowd hear tonight.

[The crowd goes berzerk]

Grinnin - Shut the hell up, i got something to say and you pathetic excuses for people aint about to stop me tonight. Now as i was saying; Williams, you have started something that you cant possibly understand. You want to stick your nose in my world then you have to be ready to face the consequences of those actions because i might reverse the tables and stick my nose in your world. The world of executives, lawyers and business. Worried yet? Well you should be. You want to learn more, keep interfering with me and you will find out. The Wrecking Crew has made a lot of money the last little while and you should know what money can buy. Be smart for a change Williams, don't get in my way anymore.

[The crowd has silenced somewhat in confusion to what Grinnin is saying and he smiles mirthlessly at it before beginning to speak again]

Grinnin - Janus, tonight you get to step into the ring with me. Do i want to do this? Not really. If you piss me off in there will you can count on one thing .... YOU WILL GET SMACKED!!!!

Charlie Watkins - It appears that the Brian Williams/Grinnin rivalry isn't done just yet.

Terry Hogan - Williams is staying out of the fire, but he still may get burned.

Charlie Watkins - Now we can finally get to our first match.  The Complete Nightmare is someone that the SWL has had under contract for a while now, but is just now debuting.  I see a lot of potential in him.

(A giant "V" appears on the JumboTron.  "My Own Prison" by Creed begins to play as green lasers fill the arena.  The Vindicator is seen walking down the entry way.  He is wearing the new Regulators shirt and long green and black pants.  His face is painted once again to match the new t-shirt.  He is smiling a big smile that reflects confidence.  He walks towards the ring and as he does he holds his hand out to slap some of the fans five.  He talks back and forth with some of them.  He gets in
the ring and get's on top turnbuckle and hold up a fist.  The crowd explodes.  The crowd starts to chant "V! V! V!  V!"  He gets down and grabs a microphone.  As he does there is some feedback from the microphone.)

The Vindicator - That must be what your still hearing right now huh Grinnin!?!

The Vindicator - Got your chair shot in stereo.  Now let me lay it on the line.  The Wrecking Crew tried to stop me last Sunday from advancing in this tournament.  But the bottom line is Grinnin, your little lackey couldn't do the job.  You guys haven't seen even a fraction of what the Regulators have in store for you.  So send another one out this week. I'm not really worried who walks out of that entrance in just a minute. Since I was in the first round of the tournament I intened to do the
impossible and go this thing to the end.  After all I am the man that defies ALL the odds!

The Vindicator - There's been people out there saying that this tournament is gonna kill the Regulators.  Especially if me or Rhodes has to go one on one with the Kid.  Well let me shut up all the rumors that running rampant right now.  I've talked to the Kid and he has done nothing but encourage me and Rhodes to take it to the top of the tournament.  If I have to wrestle Rhodes or Kid or Rhodes and Kid have to wrestle.  It will be just that.  Wrestling.  Not a fight, not a brawl, but good clean technical wrestling like the world had never seen before.  We all are confident that the better man will have the title and the Regulators are going nowhere but UP!!

[Janus walks out with his music playing, he is not wearing his usual ring attire.]

Charlie Watkins - No, but he does have something to do with the Wrecking Crew.

[He has on a black Wrecking Crew t-shirt and Khaki pants. He has a very serious demeanor as he makes his way down to the ring and rolls in. He asks for the mic from Ann Dea and looks around that he crowd, who are booing, before he begins to speak.]

Janus - Listen up you simpletons I'm going to keep this short and sweet so both you and Grinnin can understand it. Tonight is going to be a night you will all remember. Not becuase of what our egotistical President is doing but because of what I am going to do tonight. I'm going to do what Billy Rock, President Williams, Michael Cage, and even Real couldn't do. I'm going to take down the man they call Grinnin. Every week I come out here and I hear the chatter, well tonight it stops. Grinnin you can talk all about your personal Reign to Terror all you want but tonight you own personal Hell will begin. I'm going to take you down boy. I don't know where the Crew goes from here but I do know that after tonight, you're going to one place, the county morgue!

[Janus throws down the mic and rolls out of the ring. As the walks back up the ramp he yells pauses to yell back at the booing croud before he dissappears behind the curtain]

Charlie Watkins - [laughing] Nice to see that things are all well and good in Wrecking Crew camp.

Terry Hogan - Just you wait.  Let's see the end of this mini-tournament first.
 
 

The Vindicator vs. "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran

Anna Dea - This match is the final round of this weeks Shooting Star Tournament. On his way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 245 pounds, from Gainesville, FL a member of The Regulators, The Vindicator!!! (crowd cheers *********)

[A giant V appears on the Jumbo Tron and the lights go out. "My Own Prison" by Creed begins to play as green lasers light the arena and the Vindicator can be seen in the entryway. He walks out a little way and stops. There is a large explosion and the Vindicator runs to the ring. ]

Anna Dea - and his opponent, weighing in at 256 pounds, from Part Unknown, "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran!!! (crowd cheers *****)

["One" by Three Dog Night begins to play over the sound system and then Crazy Dog bursts through the curtain running back and forth across the aisle shaking as many hands as possible. Once at ringside, his demeanor changes and he is all business glaring at his opponent until the bell rings. Kevin Mills checks The Vindicator's boots and knee pads. Crazy Dog drops The Vindicator with a Gorilla Press Slam on the mat. (the bell rings) The Vindicator kicks Dragoran in the stomach. ]

Charlie Watkins - The Vindicator with a kick.

[The Vindicator covers "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran. Kevin Mills counts. ...1 ...2 "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran kicks out. ]

Terry Hogan - The Vindicator should have known he wouldn't win the match with that.

[Dragoran moves back to his feet. Vindicator forearm smashes "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran. ]

Charlie Watkins - Vindicator executes a Forearm Smash.

[Dragoran neck snaps The Vindicator. ]

Terry Hogan - neck snap!

[Crazy Dog pins Vindicator against the ropes and chokes him with his forearm. The Vindicator spears "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran to the mat. The Vindicator is back on his feet. Vindicator goes for a pin. Referee Kevin Mills makes the count. ...1 Crazy Dog kicks out. ]

Terry Hogan - You just can't win this early in a match. Especially with an opponent like "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran.

["Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran climbs to his feet. Dragoran hits The Vindicator with a running powerbomb on to the mat. Crazy Dog hits The Vindicator with an elbowdrop from the second turnbuckle. Crazy Dog gets up. Vindicator gets hit with a diving elbow smash from Crazy Dog. Dragoran stomps Vindicator. ]

Charlie Watkins - stomp!

["Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran applies an arm wrench to The Vindicator. Now The Vindicator standing. Crazy Dog executes the German suplex on The Vindicator. ]

Terry Hogan - Nice German suplex by Dragoran.

[Dragoran is back on his feet. ]

Terry Hogan - Are you enjoying this match?

Charlie Watkins - Yes sir!

[The Vindicator is back on his feet. Vindicator punches Dragoran in the head. ]

Terry Hogan - Vindicator executes a punch.

[The Vindicator delivers a clothesline to Crazy Dog. ]

Charlie Watkins - The Vindicator with a Clothesline.

[Vindicator covers Dragoran hooking the leg. Kevin Mills counts the pin. ...1 ...2 Dragoran escapes. ]

Terry Hogan - Vindicator should have known he wouldn't win the match with that.

[Dragoran gets up. The Vindicator connects with a flying knee. "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran goes down. ]

Charlie Watkins - The Vindicator with a knee.

[Now Dragoran standing. Crazy Dog with a takeover suplex on The Vindicator. Dragoran chants start. Dragoran stands up. The Vindicator gets up. Vindicator drives a forearm into the head of "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran. The Vindicator kicks "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran in the stomach. The Vindicator applies an arm wrench to Crazy Dog. ]

Terry Hogan - The Vindicator executes a Arm wrench.

[Vindicator goes for a pin. Referee Kevin Mills makes the count. ...1 ...2 "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran kicks out. ]

["Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran moves back to his feet. The Vindicator delivers a clothesline to Dragoran. Dragoran hits a running forearm smash on The Vindicator's face. Dragoran chants start. The Vindicator is up again. Crazy Dog gut-wrenchs Vindicator. Vindicator piledrives Dragoran. Vindicator applies an arm wrench to Crazy Dog. The Vindicator chants start. And The Vindicator goes for the Reverse Superplex! Oh! It's Harsh Justice! Vindicator covers "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran. The ref starts the count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ]

Terry Hogan - The Vindicator has won the match!

Anna Dea - The winner of this match, The Vindicator!!!

Charlie Watkins - The Vindicator moves on AGAIN!  He's really taking advantage of this tournament.

[Brian Williams appears on the Jumbotron in his office at his desk talking to Dalton Fisk.]

Brian Williams - Thanks for the help earlier.  I really need to watch my back now a days.

Dalton Fisk - You want help.  I can get you that.

Brian Williams - Okay, but thats the least of my worries right now.  What's up with Blake not showing up for the tourny today?  This isn't what I wanted the tournament to be about.  I wanted to keep people on their toes, but it's not really working.

Dalton Fisk - What can you do?  You can't change the tournament now.

Brian Williams - I'm the President, of course I can change it.  Well, not really change it, more like tweaking it.  Instead of every wrestler going in blind, I will give them a bit of light.  I won't tell them who they are up against, only that they are wrestling.  So Dalton, by next week, I want you to tell Grinnin, Johnny Spades, and MOB Squad that they are all wrestling next week in the tournament as well as the this weeks winner, The Vindicator.  But the twist is that they won't know who's going to wrestle who.

[The scene fades out]

Charlie Watkins - Looks like the tournament has a couple good match possibilities next week.

Terry Hogan - Two Wrecking Crew members and only one Regulator, not a good ratio.

Charlie Watkins - Hold on, I'm getting a message from the back that there is a video here for Grinnin.

Terry Hogan - Let's see it.

(The scene holds a view of SWL World Heavyweight Champion, "The Kid" Billy Rock, sitting on the steps of the porch at the Thatcher home in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He's wearing an Arkansas Razorbacks football jersey and faded blue jeans.  His hair hangs scraggly over his bowed face.  The Kid rolls his neck around and stares into the camera through the slim gaps
between his strands of hair ... )

The Kid - Heh.  You think I've forgotten, Grinnin?  Do you think the memory escaped me just as cowardly as you did?  I try to balance my temper in front of my family when I recall the memory of gliding off that cage over and over and over.  You know me.  I try not to take anything personally.  I always try to convince myself that everyone else realizes that this is their job, like I do.  I sit here and tell myself that Michael Cage really couldn't hate Vindicator that much.  What's he ever done?  I tell myself
it's all for the fans.  To get them wound up so they're heads spin during the payoff.

You began to chip away at that philosophy when you cut Bret Real from the roster.  You made an even bigger dent when you beat two weeks of vacation time into Vindicator with a motherf*cking crowbar.  But, man, you shattered my illusion when you hurled me off that cage.

(The Kid lowers his head and pauses in silence, only broken by deep, ernest breathes.  He then slowly lifts his eyes to meet the camera once again.Everything in his face predicts impending tragedy ... )

The Kid - Back before the SWL discovered me I use to compete in toughman competitions in local bars and clubs.  As a matter of fact that's how SWL discovered me.  I would enter that ring with the understanding that this isn't personal, man, but I will likely put my fist through the back of your head if they'll hand me the winner's purse for it.  Then I would watch professional wrestling and not understand how someone could sustain a long term hatred for another man.  One that spanned months, with all sorts of twists and turns along the way.

(The Kid stands and towers over the camera.  He looks down on us as he speaks ... )

The Kid - I can't seem to flee from the thought that you intentionally and with good conscience attempted to trivialize all that I've worked for by ending my career.  You tried to mug me of my livlihood.  The practice that serves food to my table.  The only therapy that keeps me sane.  And why? Because I'm superior.  My skills.  My speech.  My intelligence.  All on a
level that you're still searching for.  And you can't handle the fact that I tarnished your stock.  You can't stand it that there's someone better than you and he came to show you.  So what do you do if you can't be the best man in that ring? I guess you challenge high level executives in suits that have never so much as climbed a turnbuckle, surround yourself
with younger more talented wrestlers, and attack the better man without ever getting trapped in the ring with him or really ever having to look him in the eye.  But Grinnin ... you probably don't know that you'll go down as one of my greatest teachers of all time.

(Billy's eyes are glazed over with fury.  His gaze pierces the lens with scrutiny ... )

The Kid - For you taught me to hate.  To despise.  To make it personal. Oh you not only hit home, you kicked the f*cking door down and sh*t on the floor.  Well I'm almost back, Grinnin.  On more week.  And when I dig my fingers into your neck, not only will I hit home with you.  I will burn that son of a b*tch to the ground.

You've already made yourself notorious, Grinnin.  Now it's my turn to make you famous.

Charlie Watkins - It appears things are going to get back on track here in the SWL when he gets back.

Terry Hogan - Yeah?  Like someone to keep Grinnin in check?  Because Brian Williams isn't doing it.

Charlie Watkins - We'll just have to see.  But now we are in for the end of The Wrecking Crew.

Terry Hogan - Yeah, like that is going to happen.
 
 

Anna Dea - This match is a Standard Match. On his way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 283 pounds, from Toronto, Canada a member of The Wrecking Crew, Grinnin!!! (crowd boos *****)

[The first bars of "Sad but True" by Metallica play. The music pauses breifly. A Pyro goes off in front of the ramp and two sets of fireworks explode in the rafters. Grinnin walks out all business with a completely unreadable face. He rolls under the bottom rope and goes to a neutral corner. ]

Anna Dea - and his opponent, weighing in at 285 pounds, from Rome he holds the SWL Spotlight title belt, Janus!!! (crowd boos ****)

["When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 500 hits as Janus comes out in a dark grey robe. His hood remains on until his music stops. He removes his hood and stares down his opponent. Grinnin checks his boots. Janus tests out the ropes. (the bell rings) The two shake hands.]

Terry Hogan - A lot of sportsmanship from the Wrecking Crew today.  It's good to see that.

[The two connect with roundhouse rights on each other and both of them fall to the mat.]

Charlie Watkins - What?

Terry Hogan - They went at it so hard that they knocked each other out.

[Kevin Mills starts counting....1....2...3...4....5...6....7]

Charlie Watkins - They aren't going to get up?

[....8....9.....10]

Anna Dea - The match is a double knockout!

Charlie Watkins - WHAT?!

Brian Williams - I'm sure Williams is crapping in his pants right now.

[Janus grabs the mic]

Janus - (with a huge smile of satisfaction on his face) You people are so simple. Look at yourselves. You're like sheep to the slaughter. Let me set a few things straight. First of all it would take a lot more than some simple matches to break up the most powerful group in SWL history. In the Crew we aren't about personal accolades or foolish pride. We all want the same thing, we thrive on the pure carnage that we can create. And as you peons can see we do quite well. The second thing that I would like to clear up to you simpletons is just that, we aren't just the most powerful alliance ever, we are also the smartest. So Williams, get this straight. you can never out smart us, we will always be one step ahead of you. This federation is ours for the taking and believe me we are ready to take. For all you pansies in the back there are only three things I have to say......(turns and points to the back of his Wrecking crew t-shirt where it says) OUR RULES.....OUR TIME....YOUR PROBLEM!!!

[Janus hands the mic to Grinnin]

Grinnin - Brian, Brian, Brian, i have the distinct feeling that this was not a part of your plan. Then again spoiling your plans is something i have made a career out of so you should really be used to it by now. So remember what i said earlier tonight. You stuck your nose in our business once tonight. I suggest you dont stick it in again or i promise it is going to get bloody. I am sick and tired of having the SWL try and lump everything against the Wrecking Crew as if we were some bunch of weak losers with no clue as to how things should be run. You know the rules, We Lead, The Bodies Pile and the Rest Get The Hell Out of the WAY!! When in doubt of this fact see the following!

[Grinnin again points to the shirt of Janus]

Grinnin - If for some unknown reason you cant abide by these simple facts then be prepared because .... YOU WILL GET SMACKED!!!! [Wrecking Crew music begins to play as Grinnin and Janus leave the ring]
