[Grinnin walks over to Johnny Spades and shakes his hand]

Grinnin - Tonight is the birth of the "Wrecking Crew".  The mandate of the "Wrecking Crew" is simple.  We wreck things.

Charlie Watkins - Welcome one and all to Minneapolis, Minnesota.  We are two weeks away from Zero Tolerance and it's already shaping up to be HUGE!

Terry Hogan - Yeah, Grinnin is going to rip Brian Williams a new....

Charlie Watkins - Watch it... we are on television here.  You can't just say anything.

Terry Hogan - But we are on live.  I can say anything that I [beep] want.

Charlie Watkins - You forget... the show is tape delayed 10 seconds so that people can beep out what needs to be beeped out, if ya get my drift.

Terry Hogan - I get it.

Charlie Watkins - We have a great show lined up for tonight.  Spotlight Title match, a three way tag match, and of couse we have Rizzo taking on "The Kid", non-title of course.

Terry Hogan - Of course, Rock doesn't like giving title shots.  I think he's just scared.

Charlie Watkins - Scared?  Ha.  I don't think Rizzo even deserves a World Title shot yet.  Although he is the Quasar champ, I don't think he should be at that level yet.  He's got some growing up to do.

Terry Hogan - He's got some growing up to do?  I think you have some growing up to do.  The only reason....

[Theme from "Battle of Britain" plays over the loudspeakers.]

Charlie Watkins - Would you shut your yap for at least a couple seconds.  Something is happening here, and I don't know what.  I don't recognize this music.

Terry Hogan - As I was saying, the only reason that you'd.....

Charlie Watkins - Give it a rest, will you.

(The curtain parts, and out steps a woman wearing a dark blue, sequined evening gown. Her long blonde hair curls down over her left shoulder as she stands for a moment. There is a stirring in the crowd.)

Charlie Watkins - She looks familiar, doesn't she? I can't quite put my finger on where I have seen her before.

(The curtain opens wide, and out steps a brown-haired man wearing an expensive-looking navy blue suit. The crowd starts to cheer as they recognize him.)

Charlie Watkins - Hey, wait a minute... I think I recognize him.  In my travels scouting for talent, I have come across this man many times.

Terry Hogan - I don't recognize him.  Must not be that big.

Charlie Watkins - Oh believe me, he'll make an impact if he is as good as I thought he was.

Terry Hogan - Okay, I'm still sitting in the dark here.  Who is this guy?

Charlie Watkins - Well, I'm going to show you the light.  May I introduce to you, "The Cavalier" Tom Knight.

Terry Hogan - Hmmm.... the name sounds familiar.  But again, I don't think it's that big a deal.  I mean, if I don't know who he is, then who else will care?

Charlie Watkins - Well, the SWL superstars will care. I'm not sure how happy some of these guys will be to see the Cavalier back in action! If he's signed up, Brian Williams just got an early birthday present!

Terry Hogan - So who's the bimbo?

Charlie Watkins - It's Guinevere, you moron. Don't you know anything?

(Tom and Guinevere walk down to the ring arm in arm. Tom shakes hands with several fans along the aisle, and signs a young fan's t-shirt. At ringside, he walks around the ring, passing out small pins to the younger fans. He then climbs the ringpost and salutes the cheering crowd. He lightly vaults over the top rope, then holds the ropes open for Guinevere to enter. Guinevere is handed a microphone, and after a moment to acknowledge the cheers, she signals for quiet.)

Guinevere - Well, I really don't think we could have picked a better place to come back to the wrestling ring. I mean, this is the state with the most wrestling fans in the country, isn't it? The state that loves wrestlers so much you elected one to run the government! And not a bad choice, at that!

(The crowd roars with approval.)

Terry Hogan - Can you believe this? Talk about kissing seventeen thousand butts at once.

Guinevere - You know, we've travelled around the world together, Tom and I, and we've had our tough times along with the good ones. Well, the time has come to add some good times to the list, and the SWL is where it's going to happen!

(The crowd cheers even louder as Guinevere hands the microphone to the Cavalier.)

Knight - Guinevere, I've seen a lot of familiar names in the roster here, and I've run into a few familiar faces back in the lockers. Jason Blake, we've gone through some interesting times, haven't we? Let's see if we can't have a few more. Vindicator, I see you're still using that crowbar. Considering how often it's been used on you I have to wonder why you haven't figured out that it's more trouble than it's worth. But I still have a lot of respect for you, and I can guarantee you this: the Cavalier is behind you, ready to watch your back if need be.

Charlie Watkins - He's about two weeks late with that offer.  The Vindicator is out of action at the moment, and we don't know when he will be back.  But Knight's certainly carving out his niche, isn't he?

Knight - Rizzo, I remember you. We've never met in the ring, but that's a challenge I'm happy to wait for. That Quasar belt looks good around your waist, but I think it will look better around mine. But all in due time. There's one other man I have to address tonight, and he knows who he is. I see that the Most Notorious Man in the PWP hasn't changed his spots in the slightest, have you, Grinnin?

(The chorus of boos is deafening.)

Knight - To think that I was actually ready to battle alongside you at one time. Maybe it's better that our paths have not yet crossed in the ring. But they will, you can rest assured of that. Not tonight, not tomorrow...but they will cross some day soon. What will you be thinking? Will you take me lightly, because I was certainly nowhere near your equal in the past, was I? I was the beginner, you were the rising champion. But that was then, this is now. I've tasted the gold, I've stood in triumph against the most difficult of odds! I've climbed the treacherous peaks of a champion, and held that peak against men whose names struck fear into those who fought against them. I've been there, standing proud!

But as I said, that was then, and this is now. Here I stand, a man who needs to prove himself once again. A man who must start at the bottom of the mountain and struggle to the top just as any other. What I've done in the past doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is where I'm going in the future. And I see you in that future, Grinnin. Some day, you're going to step in the ring with me, a man who does not fear you, a man who knows exactly how low you will stoop to snatch a victory or just to hurt someone. You can laugh now, Grinnin, because you're on top of the world. But now you know that there's someone who is ready to pull you down off that pedestal.

["Locked in a Cage" begins to blair over the PA system as Micheal Cage comes walking out. Cage gets to the ring and grabs a mic.]

Micheal Cage - You know i thought i would come out and talk about how ever sense the SWL restarted early this year i have been screwed. About how i dropped the title to Bret Real at SWL2K and never recieved a rematch. About how i was promised gold but was screwed every time i faced Vindicator. But no, thats not what im about. Wrestling is a cruel business. Young guys, if you have a desire to compete stay in it, don't let the politics get to you.

(Micheal pauses to regain his composure)

Cage - But as for me, i have had about all i can take. So SWL i will fullfill my contractual agreements up untill the the pay per view. But after the pay per view Its time for Micheal Cage to step away from wrestling....(Cage pauses)...

.....But because i have contractual obligations bring out GlassVoice.

(Cage drops the mic and goes to the corner post and sits on the top turnbuckle untill GlassVoice comes out)

GlassVoice goes for a power move but Cage dodges the attack. GlassVoice goes for a figure four. Kevin Mills is checking for a tap out. ... GlassVoice tightens the hold. ... Charlie Watkins - That Micheal Cage announcement came as a bit of a shock to me.  What does he expect to accomplish?

Terry Hogan - Maybe he's just trying to get attention.

Charlie Watkins - But you realize that now that he has announced his resignation, that there won't be a crowbar match at the PPV with The Vindicator?

Terry Hogan - Doesn't matter.  Vindy is out and who knows when he is coming back?

[(......6) They fight into the aisle. GlassVoice and Cage move back into the ring. Cage grabs GlassVoice and applies an arm wrench.]

(Watkins is interrupted by the lights flickering)

Terry Hogan - Don’t ask me. I've had about enough of this crap that they are pulling back there.  They have to let us know what's going on.

(“Zero” by The Smashing Pumpkins starts playing. After several seconds, SWL newcomer Buzz Storm appears in the entrance way. He is wearing his trademark Lightning covered wrestling tights. He paces quickly towards the ring and slides underneath the bottom rope, walks over to Anna Dea and grabs the microphone out her hand. The crowd starts booing ***)

Charlie Watkins - I guess we have company.

Terry Hogan - Yeah, and he looks pis…

Charlie Watkins - Watch it. The censors can't beep out everything.

(Storm waits for the crowd to settle. He looks around the arena and nods his head. He is in a bad, nasty mood and he looks like he has something to get off his chest)

Buzz Storm - Minnesota, for the uneducated few of you who don’t know who I am, my name is Buzz Storm and I have arrived in the SWL to break bones and to own gold. (pauses) Now, onto the reason why I’m out here. When I signed the contract on Thursday evening, I was thinking that if I got my ass into gear, I might get onto the card for “Zero Tolerance” in two weeks.

(The crowd cheers at the mention of the PPV. ******)

Buzz Storm - God, you guys are easily pleased. Well, I’m sorry Mr. Williams for not being a nice man, but I can’t wait until next Sunday to get my hands on some SWL flesh. So, I stand before you tonight, to make an open challenge for anybody in the back (points down the entrance way) to find the balls and the courage to walk down to this ring, step through the ropes and go face to face with “The Buzz”. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not doing this for any of you losers in the crowd (crowd boos ******). You don’t deserve to see me in action. I’m doing this because, if I don’t get some of this anger out of my system, I dread to think what could happen to my opponent at “Zero Tolerance”.

(He looks down the aisle and begins to get angry)

Buzz Storm - I’m not in the habit of waiting. So, come on, get your ass down here now.

(Storm kicks the ropes in frustration)

Buzz Storm - Okay, game over. Either somebody comes down here or I’m going stand here for the rest of the show and hold ShockWave hostage.

(Crowd boos loudly ******)

Charlie Watkins - He can’t do that.

Terry Hogan - Are you going to stop him?

(Suddenly, The Squad – Tank and Star, walk down to the ringside. They look very apprehensive. Storm drops the microphone and walks over towards the ropes. He bends down and sits on the second rope, holding them open for The Squad to step through. Tank tries to turn back but is blocked by Star who grabs Tanks and throws him into the ring, under the bottom rope. Star then turns around and runs back up the runway. Tank looks up at Storm who signals for Tank to get up onto his feet and face him like a man. “The Buzz” turns around and bends to pick the microphone up but is attacked from behind by Tank. Tank nails Storm with several shots, but the blows have little effect on the pocket powerhouse, known as Buzz Storm)

Charlie Watkins - Looks like we have a match going on here and already this is a mis-match.
 

(Tank backs off and runs in for a clothesline but is knocked off his feet by a roundhouse blow to his head. As Tank lays flat on his back, Storm signals to the crowd that the match is over. He walks over to the ropes and waves a referee down to the ring. Storm then calls for the bell. The match has officially started. A groggy looking Tank staggers back to his feet and is lifted in a hanging backbreaker, the submission move that Storm calls The Stretch. Without hesitation, the referee calls for the bell, but Storm refuses to let go off the hold)

Charlie Watkins - Come on, somebody get him off of him. Storm’s going to break his back.

Terry Hogan - I think that that’s the idea.

(The crowd boos loudly *****, while Storm just laughs as he puts the hold on stronger and stronger. Tank is screaming for mercy. The the SWL Security Team rush down to the ringside and tackle Buzz Storm, to cheers from the crowd ***. Three members of the team, lead Storm away from the ring, while the others start helping Tank back to the backstage area)

Terry Hogan - I like his attitude.

Charlie Watkins - I don't.  You can't just come into the SWL and DEMAND a match.  It comes with time.

Terry Hogan - But still, I hope he sticks around.

Charlie Watkins - You would.  But I think it's finally time for our next SCHEDULED match.

Terry Hogan - Hey, and guys in the back.... let us know something like this is going to happen next time.  Okay?  It's so annoying when they do this to us.

Anna Dea - This match is a Standard Match. On his way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 218 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois accompanied by "Electric" Amy Sparks, Jason "The Bandit" Blake!!! (crowd cheers **********)

[The lights in the arena turn a pale blue. "Move Your Body" by Eiffel 65 begins to blare thoughout the arena as Jason Blake and Amy Sparks step out from the entranceway. Blake runs to the ring, high-fiving as many fans as possible with Amy walking casually, smiling at all the fans. ]

Anna Dea - and his opponent, weighing in at 293 pounds, from London, England a member of The Wrecking Crew, "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes!!! (crowd boos ******)

[The Prodigy Mix of Methodmans "Release Yo' delf" echoes around the arena. A yellowish haze lights the entrance as Rhodes appears with his hands on hips. He gives a cheesy grin and enters the ring. Blake walks around the ring. Kevin Mills checks "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes's boots and knee pads. (ding, ding, ding) They lockup. Jason "The Bandit" Blake sends "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes to the corner of the ring. "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes kicks Jason Blake in the head. "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes grabs Blake and applies an arm wrench. ]

Terry Hogan - Blake takes a Arm wrench.

[Jason Blake moves back to his feet. "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes goes for a kick to the head.  Blake ducks under it and somehow manages to hit a springboard moonsault DDT. "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes is knocked out. The Bandit drags "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes to the floor. Kevin Mills starts the count (.1) Jason "The Bandit" Blake swings a Steel chair and hits "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes. "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes is bleeding as a result. Blake climbs back up to the ring.]

Charlie Watkins - Blake is doing quite well at this point in the match.

Terry Hogan - Hey Jason, Rhodes is down on the floor.  Why are you going back up?

[Blake jumps off the ropes with an Asai Moonsault nailing Rhodes on the floor]

Terry Hogan - And Jason goes back down.  Maybe I should just shut my mouth and watch the match.
