Charlie
Watkins - Welcome one and all to Cleveland, Ohio. We are just
ONE WEEK from Prevailing Justice and things are being shook up even more.
Terry Hogan - And with two title matches tonight, you wonder if the same champions are going to be title holders a week from tonight.
Charlie Watkins - Johnny Spades finally gets his shot at the big gold next week after winning the Shooting Star Tournament. He gets his shot whether it be with Rock or with Rock's opponent tonight, The Ghost from Nowhere.
Terry Hogan - But things are sure to erupt here tonight as everyone is preparing for Prevailing Justice.
Charlie Watkins - Before we get this thing started, we have been informed that Micheal Cage has a couple things to say. So he can come one down whenever he's....
(Skillets "locked in a Cage" In blairs over the PA system, and Miss Brown walks out of the back. She gets about half way up the isle and stops. Micheal Cage then comes out and stops beside Miss Brown. The two then walk side by side to the ring. Cage pulls open the rope and steps over the top of it while Miss Brown goes and grabs a mic. She hands it to Cage. The camara pans across the areana and finds a "The Franchise has Spoken sign")
Micheal Cage - Hello Cleveland. Well i guess you all now why I'm out here. Yes it involves Pay Per View. Call your local cable operater for availivilty. Only $19.95...
...I've always wanted to do that...
Now on to the
matter at hand Prevailing Justice. President Williams and I have
both swallowed are pride and have met a couple of times to put on
the
best show
that we can. Prevailing Justice is going to be more than a PPV, its going
to be a birthday celebration. One year ago the SWL was born. This
year it will
be even bigger. I have got a couple of announcements. Miss Brown would
you like to take part of this honor.
(Cage hands the mic over to Miss Brown who reaches into here back pocket and pulls out a piece of paper)
Miss Brown
- Thank you, Micheal. As Mr. Cage said this marks the one year anniversary
of the SWL and sense then it has had five world champions. This
year at Prevailing
Justice we are going to honor the very first one with the RB Burns Memorial
Cup.
(At the entrance way two SWL employees bring out a six foot trophy)
Miss Brown
- Isn't it pretty. This trophy will be awarded to the winner of a special
Battle Royal at the Pay Per View. All SWL roster members not on the
Card will
be in this special OVer the top battle royal with this special stipulation.
The participants fight to the last two. Then a ref enters the
ring and the two have a one on one match with the man who gets the pinfall,
submission, DQ, count-out, or whatever will be the winner of the first
RB Burns Memorial Cup.
(Miss Brown hands the mic back to Cage)
Micheal Cage - Thank you Miss Brown. Now i said i had a special announcement for the Pay Per View main event. So here we go. It appears that the hottest thing in the SWL today is the Regulaters verse the Wrecking Crew...Am i not Right. And Next sunday at Prevailing Justice we have two Crew versus Regulator matches that are going to blow the roof of The Palace. And in both those matches we need special enforcement. So what i have done is this...
(Holds up one finger)
Grinnin and Vindicater will have a special referee.
(Holds up two fingers)
Spades Rock will have a special ringside enforcer...
Guess what?
That man will be the same man. Thats right this year Micheal Cage returns
to the Main Event at Prevailing Justice. I will be the Special
Referee and
The Ring enforcer.
The Fran.....
("Whatever
It Takes" by POD blocks Cage from completing his tag line. "The Kid"
Billy Rock swaggers down the aisle with Vindicator breathing down his
neck.
The Kid and Vindicator slide into the squared circle and confront
Cage. Anna Dea conveys a microphone to Billy who seems to be deeply
considering
something... )
"The Kid"
Billy Rock - Cage, there's no room for you between Spades and I.
Alright? You have about as much to do with us as the last dump I took has
to do with the sinking of the Titanic.
does decide
they're gonna find a way around you. I don't think you could stop
a sink with a wet roll of toilet paper. But if you're convinced that
the substance of our match is gonna suffer because of your absence, then
find a spot and stay there. It's the best look at a main event you'll
ever get again.
(Billy Rock then hands Vindicater the mic)
The Vindicator
- (speaking almost as if he is upset) Cage I just can't get you
off my back can I? We have torn down the house. You've tasted
my blood
and I've tasted
yours. And through all those matches I have only one thing to say
to you...
(A dead calm of silence fills the arena as the crowd awaits the Vindicator to finish his sentence.)
Vindicator
- You have earned my respect. (The crowd responds favorably.)
But trust is another story. This man (taps Kid on the shoulder) has
earned
my trust.
The Lucious One has earned my trust. (points a finger at Cage) Cage you
haven't hit that level yet. So all I'm gonna say is that you know how much
is riding on my match with Grinnin. You know exactly what is at stake
for me personally and for my career. Prevailing Justice is your proving
ground. You call the match straight down the middle and you will earn my
trust. You let the Crew screw me over and not only will you
lose my respect and my trust, you may lose your life!
Cage - First off Rock i don't like you and i definatly don't like Spades. I will give you my personal garuntee that i will not step one foot into that ring for the main event. My role in that match will be as follows, there will be three men step into that ring, the two compititers and the man assigned to ref that match. I'm not about to let the credability of that title drop anymore than it already has. Concentrate on Spades and all will be fine...
...Now on to
you Vindicator. We have been up and down the road together, we have fought,
and i have the most respect for you than anyone else in this
buisness.
You are the heart and soul of that little group you guys run around in.
Your the one who should be wearing the World title in my opinion. My role
in your match will be to count the pinfall. That is all. Heck i may not
even show up for the first 25 mintues of the match. You have my personal
guarantee that i will not lay a finger on you...
(The Kid and Vindicator turn their backs to leave the ring ... )
You guys don't trust me? Well i guess were going to find out if Mr. Booker can allow justice to prevail...As i was saying earlier The Franchise ha--
(The Kid spins around and blasts Cage in the face with the SWL World Heavyweight Title. The fans erupt. Cage lands in a fetal heap on the mat... )
Charlie Watkins - What was that for?!
(The Kid swipes Cage's mic and points down to him from above ... )
The Kid - Change of plans! Keep your attention craving ass in your own f*ckin' yard!
(Billy lifts the title to the sky ... )
The Kid
- This meld of leather and gold means more today than throughout the
entire history of the SWL! NO ONE has provided for this federation
as
their champion
like I have! I'm climbed through these ropes for the past five weeks
and put everyone who stood against me where you are right now! So before
you go questioning the value of MY SWL World Heavyweight Title again, just
remember the only reason you're still a memory in this business.
Because one year ago at Prevailing Justice '99,
(The Kid drops the mic on Cage and leaves with Vindicator ... )
Charlie Watkins - The Vindicator didn't look all too pleased with what Rock just did.
Terry Hogan - Cage didn't deserve what he was given to him.
Charlie Watkins - But you gotta respect that NO ONE has given Rock any respect while he has held that belt. First it was the month layoff when Grinnin sent him out with injury, now it's the fact that he can't bring prestige to the title. No one has come close to beating the guy....
Terry Hogan - Except Cage.
Charlie Watkins - But that was solely because Spades knocked Rock out when he wasn't looking.
Terry Hogan
- Let's let those two decide who should be champ next week... we have
a show to do. Let's get down to Anna Dea.
Cyle Storm vs. Banshee vs. Nikita Morozov
Anna Dea - The following contest is a Three-Way match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Keansburg, New Jersey, weighing in at 236 pounds, "Old School" Cyle Storm!!!
[The house lights dim ever so slightly as "I'm Afraid of Americans" hits. "Old School" Cyle Storm walks out to the ring wearing his simplistic black trunks and white boots. He shakes no hands, cracks no smile, just continues to the ring. He walks up to the steps and without much fanfair.]
Anna Dea - His opponent, weighing in at 264 pounds, from Dublin, Ireland, Banshee!!!
[The lights go out. Green lights flash on and off and a sillouhette of a screaming face is shown on the jumbotron. A loud screach is heard and "War Pigs" by Faith No More starts playing. Banshee comes out wearing his black cloak and green tights. He walks to the rings slowly. Suddenly, Nikita Morozov appears at the top of the entrance ramp and charges at Banshee with the chain.]
Terry Hogan - Banshee, you’d better look out behind you!
[Morozov strikes Banshee in the back of the head with the chain. He picks up Banshee and jackhammers him onto the ramp.]
Charlie Watkins - What a cheap shot! Is this what Russia has to be proud of?!? A back fighter?
Terry Hogan - Settle down, Charlie. Just enjoy the match.
[Cyle Storm runs out into the aisle while Morozov is standing over Banshee’s prone body. He catches Morozov with several forearms and drags him back to the ring.]
Charlie Watkins - Looks like Storm is taking matters into his own hands.
Terry Hogan - And it also looks like we won’t be seeing too much more of Banshee tonight. He’s out cold thanks to The Russian Bear.
[Storm applies a waistlock to Morozov and delivers a flawless German suplex. He bridges into a cover but can only get a one count.]
Terry Hogan - It’s WAY too early for that.
[Storm attempts to mat wrestle Morozov into a pin, but Morozov fights his way up and double underhooks Storm. Storm counters with a double leg takedown.]
Charlie Watkins - Storm appears to be putting on a wrestling clinic here against The Russian Bear.
[Storm turns his grip into a Boston Crab, but Morozov powers out. Morozov gouges Storm in the eye. Storm is dazed and Morozov DDTs him into the mat. Morozov ascends to the second rope and leaps off with an axehandle as Storm is getting up. He goes out to the apron and climbs to the top rope. Storm gets up as Morozov is climbing and hooks his arm. He takes him down with a huge impact.]
Charlie Watkins - Did you see that? Storm armdragged him off the top rope!
[As Storm is picking up Morozov, the referee moves behind Storm. Morozov catches this out of the corner of his eye and kicks Storm in the groin.]
Charlie Watkins - Another cheap shot by Morozov!
Terry Hogan - You say cheap, I say opportunistic.
[Morozov piledrives Storm and goes for a pin. Storm kicks out at two. Fatigue is setting in for both men. Morozov whips Storm into the ropes, but Storm ducks it and plants his feet. Before Morozov can turn around, Storm applies the Dragon Sleeper. Morozov refuses to tap out, but eventually passes out from lack of oxygen. The referee calls for the bell.]
Anna Dea - The winner of this match, "Old School" Cyle Storm.
[Banshee appears on-camera, crawling to the ring. As Storm exits, Morozov grabs his chain, charges at Storm, and levels him with it, knocking him to the ground. He wraps the chain around Banshee’s neck and chokes him out. SWL officials come out and escort him to the back.]
Charlie
Watkins - So "Old School" Cyle Storm picks up the victory, but The
Russian Bear makes quite an impact on his two opponents. But up next,
we’ve got two guys who are jockeying for position in the Spotlight Title
race.
Jason "The Bandit" Blake vs. MOB Squad
Anna Dea - The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Coming down the aisle, with his manager, "Electric" Amy Sparks, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 218 pounds, Jason "The Bandit" Blake!
[The lights in the arena turn a pale blue. "Move Your Body" by Eiffel 65 begins to blare thoughout the arena as Jason Blake and Amy Sparks step out from the entranceway. Blake runs to the ring, high-fiving as many fans as possible with Amy walking casually, smiling at all the fans.]
Anna Dea - And his opponent, weighing in at 317 pounds, from Australia, MOB Squad!!!
[MOB Squad walks to the ring.]
Terry Hogan - These two men have been on a collision course in recent weeks, all in the name of getting a shot at Janus and the SWL Spotlight title.
[The opening bell rings and the two combatants circle each other. They tie up and MOB Squad muscles Blake into the corner.]
Charlie Watkins - MOB Squad displaying an obvious size and strength advantage there.
[MOB Squad hammers Blake with several hard forearms and whips him into the opposite corner. Squad charges and connects with a reverse elbow.]
Terry Hogan - If Jason Blake doesn’t get moving soon, this one won’t last long.
[Squad brings Blake out to the center of ring and body slams him. Squad bounces off the ropes and attempts to connect with a legdrop, but Blake moves out of the way.]
Charlie Watkins - Now’s Blake’s chance; let’s see what he can do.
[Blake bounces off the ropes and connects with a flying calf kick. MOB Squad is staggered but doesn’t go down. Blake runs again and hits a reverse elbow. MOB Squad again stays on his feet.]
Terry Hogan - It’ll take more than that to put the big man down.
[Blake kicks Squad in the midsection and leaps onto Squad’s shoulders. Squad holds him and blocks Blake’s hurricanrana attempt. Blake punches him several times, but MOB Squad delivers a viscous powerbomb.]
Charlie Watkins - MOB Squad is simply too big to try and match power with. Blake’s gonna have to try something else.
[Squad goes for a pin but only gets a two count. MOB Squad picks up Blake and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He shoots Blake into the ropes and prepares to lift Blake, but Blake quickly turns it into a head scissors take over. MOB Squad gets up dazed and Blake delivers a flying lariat that takes them both over the top rope to the outside.]
Charlie Watkins - This match is anyone’s ball game at the moment.
[Blake climbs to the apron and moonsaults onto MOB Squad. The referee begins the count. Blake backs up and charges at Squad, but Squad drop-toe-holds Blake so that Blake’s head impacts with the steel steps.]
Terry Hogan - These two guys better watch the count. The referee’s up to 5.
[They brawl into the aisle, with MOB Squad getting the better of the exchange until Blake ducks an attempted clothesline and jumps onto the security railing. He leaps off onto Squad’s shoulders and spins around with a hurricanrana onto the concrete. The crowd goes wild as MOB Squad’s head is bust open from the impact. MOB Squad is knocked out cold, but Blake cannot capitalize. Suddenly, a bell is heard. Both competitors are in rough shape, laying on the concrete.]
Anna Dea - Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has counted both men out of the ring. This match is a draw.
[A chorus of boos is heard as officials come out to help the two men to the back.]
Charlie Watkins - Well, both men failed to return to the ring in time, but they did a lot of damage to each other on the outside.
Terry Hogan - I have a feeling that it’s far from over between these two. There was no clear-cut victor in this match, but they’ll both come back to fight another day. But I’m really interested in the next match.
Charlie
Watkins - That’s right, the team of Ty Shun Ho and Justin Arcola fight
for the tag team titles.
Ty
Shun Ho and Justin Arcola vs. The Dogmen
(SWL
Tag Team Championship Match)
Anna Dea - This contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the SWL Tag Team Championship! [Crowd pop] Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, weighing in at 235 pounds, "The Dragon" Ty Shun Ho!
["Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses plays as a weird Japanese symbol shows on the jumbotron. An explosion of red and green go off as Ty Shun Ho walks out. He stands on the outside of the ring and flips over the ropes to the middle of the ring. He flexes his biceps. ]
Anna Dea - His partner, from Rochester, NY, weighing in at 252 pounds, Justin Arcola!
[The trumpets and violins of Wagner’s "Ride of the Valkyries" blare through the arena as Justin Arcola walks confidently to the ring.]
Anna Dea - And their opponents, the SWL Tag Team Champions, "Crazy Dog" Fred Dragoran and "X-Dog" Paddy Doyle, The Dogmen!
[The Dogmen make their way to the ring, belts strapped over their respective shoulders.]
Charlie Watkins - The Dogmen have had a tremendous reign as champions since taking the belts from No Limit, but that reign may end here tonight.
Terry Hogan - That’s right, Charlie. For all of their difficulties in getting along outside the ring, the team of Justin Arcola and Ty Shun Ho has looked unbeatable since Commissioner Michael Cage put them together a couple of weeks ago.
[Ty Shun Ho and X-Dog begin the match. They trade knifeedge chops until X-Dog takes the upper hand. He whips Ho into the ropes and leapfrogs over Ho on the first pass. However, Ho scores with a flying forearm on the second. Ho picks up X-Dog and backslides into a pin. X-Dog kicks out at one.]
Terry Hogan - Too early to be going for a pin with a backslide.
[Ty Shun Ho takes X-Dog to his corner and tags in Justin Arcola. He holds X-Dog while Arcola comes off the second rope with a double axehandle. Arcola takes down X-Dog and makes another fast tag to Ho, who springboards over the ropes with a knee drop. Ho tags in Arcola again and the teammates perform a tandem suplex.]
Charlie Watkins - Excellent teamwork there from Arcola and Ho.
Terry Hogan - There’s no need to insult The Dragon like that.
Charlie Watkins - Like what?
Terry Hogan - Never mind.
[Justin Arcola whips X-Dog into the ropes and sets him up for a tilt-o-whirl powerslam. X-Dog counters into a head scissors take over. X-Dog makes the tag to Crazy Dog.]
Charlie Watkins - The two larger athletes of their respective teams in the ring now.
[Crazy Dog is fresh as he unloads several forearms into Arcola. He sends Arcola into the ropes and hits him with a shoulder tackle. He picks up Arcola and whips him into the corner. Arcola staggers out, dazed. Crazy Dog kicks him in the midsection and follows up with a flowing DDT. He goes for a pin, but Arcola kicks out at two.]
Terry Hogan - The momentum of the match has shifted in favor of the Dogmen.
[Crazy Dog tags in X-Dog and X-Dog goes to work with kicks that send Arcola to the corner. X-Dog runs to the other side of the ring and charges back attempting a flying body press, but finds only the turnbuckle.]
Charlie Watkins - There’s simply no good place to land up there.
[X-Dog and Arcola both crawl to their respective corners and make the tag to their partners. Ty Shun Ho and Crazy Dog enter the ring, but Crazy Dog beats Ho to the punch. He unloads on Ho with several right hands that back Ho up towards the ropes. Crazy Dog backs up and clotheslines Ho over the ropes to the floor. Crazy Dog steps through the ropes to the outside. Ho begins to flee towards the other side of the ring. Crazy Dog follows him, but doesn’t realize where he is. Justin Arcola comes flying off the apron with a dropkick when Crazy Dog gets within range.]
Terry Hogan - They set him up perfectly for that one!
[Both Ty Shun Ho and Crazy Dog roll back into the ring disoriented.]
Charlie Watkins - Somebody better wake up before the other takes advantage.
[Crazy Dog shakes his head a bit and clotheslines Ty Shun Ho who falls down to the mat. He walks over to the nearest turnbuckle.]
Terry Hogan - He's going for the Flying Crazy!
[Crazy Dog gets to the top turnbucle and jumps through the air. Ty Shun Ho moves out of the way as Crazy Dog hits nothing but mat.]
Charlie Watkins - He was playing possum!
[Ty Shun Ho rolls up Crazy Dog. Kevin Mills counts....1......2.............3.]
Charlie Watkins - We have NEW Tag Team Champions!
Terry Hogan - Imagine that. Something that Cage did actually paid out some dividends.
[Ty Shun Ho celebrate back through the entranceway.]
Charlie Watkins - That's one title change tonight, you think we could go for two? The Ghost from Nowhere seems to be on a roll lately, and he gets a huge shot tonight as he is going up against Billy Rock.
Terry Hogan
- Rock's opponent at Prevailing Justice now has a match against his
sworn enemy Lawrence Rhodes. This should be good.
"Mr. Vegas" Johnny Spades vs. "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes
Anna Dea - The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Coming down the aisle, from London, England, weighing in at 293 pounds, he is a member of the Regulators, "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes!
[The Prodigy Mix of Methodmans "Release Yo' delf" echoes around the arena. A yellowish haze lights the entrance as Rhodes appears and makes his way to the ring.]
Anna Dea - And his opponent, weighing in at 285 pounds, from Las Vegas Nevada a member of Wrecking Crew, "Mr. Vegas" Johnny Spades.
["Show Me What You Got" echoes through the complex bringing the crowd to their feet. The lights dim as purple lights flash and Johnny Spades walks out. Spades looks around at the booing crowd then puts his muscular arms in the air mocking the crowd. Spades stands on the turnbuckle bugging the fans. ]
Terry Hogan - The rivalry between the Regulators and the Wrecking Crew continues tonight.
Charlie Watkins - Not only that, but each of these men also hold a rightful place in the Heavyweight Title picture. It should be a knockdown, drag-out affair.
[The opening bell rings. The two giants tie up in the middle of the ring. Neither man can get a clear-cut advantage. Rhodes applies an arm wrench and pounds on Spades’ arm with his free fist. He whips Spades into the ropes and takes him down with a shoulder block. Rhodes bounces off the ropes and Spades drops to the ground. He gets back up and delivers a big boot to Rhodes’ face.]
Charlie Watkins - Spades set him up perfectly for that one!
[Spades applies a sitting armbar on Rhodes, but Rhodes fights his way to the ropes. The referee breaks the hold.]
Charlie Watkins - Spades uncharacteristically focusing on a particular body part in this match.
Terry Hogan - Smart move, if you ask me. If Rhodes can’t use his arm, he won’t be able to put up much of a fight.
[Rhodes fights back with a couple of forearms and backs Spades into the corner. He whips Spades hard sternum-fist into the opposite corner and catches him with a reverse DDT on the bounce.]
Charlie Watkins - Big move there.
Terry Hogan - Lawrence Rhodes is beginning to pick up the pace.
[Rhodes drops an elbow on Spades and goes for a pin. Spades kicks out at one and a half. Spades reverses an Irish whip from Rhodes and powerslams him. He applies a Luchar Armbar on Rhodes.]
Charlie Watkins - The momentum just shifted back in Spades’ favor.
Terry Hogan - He’s again focusing on the arm.
[Rhodes fights to his feet and elbows Spades in the midsection. Spades goes for a clothesline, but Rhodes ducks it and military presses Spades. He hotshots Spades on the top rope.]
Charlie Watkins - Amazing power display by "Luscious" Lawrence Rhodes.
[Rhodes gives the signal for One For the Ladies. He puts on the front facelock and lifts Spades. As he is about to powerslam him, however, Rhodes’ arm gives out on him. He drops Spades and clutches his arm in pain.]
Charlie Watkins - It looks like Rhodes has injured his right arm.
Terry Hogan - You can bet he’s in for a world of trouble as soon as Spades sees it.
[Spades gets up and grips Rhodes’ good arm, taunting him and daring him to swing with his left arm. When Rhodes can’t, Spades headbutts him and delivers the Royal Flush. He covers Rhodes…1…2…3!]
Anna Dea - The winner of this match, "Mr. Vegas" Johnny Spades.
Terry Hogan - Spades with a rather unique strategy, but it got the job done. He picks up a huge win over Lawrence Rhodes.
Charlie
Watkins - Now, let’s move on to the main event. This one should be
a classic.
"The
Kid" Billy Rock vs. The Ghost From No Where
(SWL
Heavyweight Championship Match)
Anna Dea - The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the SWL Heavyweight Championship! [Big crowd pop] On his way to the ring at this time, from Parts Unknown, accompanied by Resurrection Mary, weighing in at 234 pounds, the SWL Quasar Champion, the Ghost From No Where!
[The Ghost From No Where and Resurrection Mary make their way to the ring.]
Anna Dea - And his opponent, from Little Rock, Arkansas, weighing in at 248 pounds, a member of the Regulators and the SWL Heavyweight Champion, "The Kid" Billy Rock!]
[Billy Rock makes his way to the ring.]
Charlie Watkins - It’s champion versus champion in what should be a tremendous contest of wrestling skill.
Terry Hogan - If you ask me, neither one of these guys deserves to wear their respective belts anyway.
Charlie Watkins - Well, be that as it may, we’re ready to get under way.
[The bell rings and the two tie up. Rock puts on a side headlock, but the Ghost shoots him into the ropes. Rock hits a shoulder block that knocks down the Ghost. While on the mat, though, the Ghost executes a scissor sweep. The Ghost goes on top of Rock quickly with a wasitlock. Rock fights to his feet, but cannot break the hold. The Ghost goes for a Dragon suplex, but Rock goes with the momentum and lands on his feet behind the Ghost. Rock hooks the Ghost up into a reverse DDT. Rock goes for a pin, but only gets one.]
Charlie Watkins - What amazing action!
Terry Hogan - These two are really giving the fans their money’s worth.
[Rock picks up the Ghost and goes for a short clothesline, but Ghost ducks it and counters with a knee to the face of Rock. Ghost shoots himself into the ropes and Rock attempts a powerslam. Ghost hooks Rock and rolls with the impact into a headscissors. Rock kicks out of the hold and both men get to their feet. The crowd applauds the display and the two wrestlers go back to their corners to regroup.]
Terry Hogan - Both men starting out aggressive here.
[Ghost shoots Rock into the ropes and ducks under Rock on the first pass. He charges Rock on the second pass, but Rock ducks the clothesline. When Ghost gets to the ropes, he instinctively slides under the bottom rope onto the apron. When Rock comes in again, the Ghost delivers a shoulder thrust to the midsection and sunset flips over the ropes. Rock kicks out at two.]
Charlie Watkins - The Ghost may have Rock’s number tonight.
Terry Hogan - The champ could be underestimating his opponent a little.
[Ghost delivers a dropkick and Rock goes flying through the ropes to the outside. Ghost goes for a baseball slide, but Rock moves out of the way and hits Ghost with a forearm. Rock Irish whips Ghost into the security railing. Ghost is stunned and Rock delivers a superkick to the back of Ghost’s head. Rock picks up Ghost and rolls him back into the ring.]
Charlie Watkins - Billy Rock not taking any chances.
Terry Hogan - I think he’s beginning to build some momentum.
[Rock shoots Ghost into the ropes and goes for a back drop. Ghost sees Rock lower his head and delivers a face buster. Ghost goes to the outside and ascends the turnbuckle. Ghost leaps off with a flying elbow, but Rock moves out of the way. Both men get to their feet. Ghost charges Rock, but Rock backdrops him over the top rope. Ghost lands on top of Resurrection Mary.]
Charlie Watkins - The Ghost inadvertently takes out his valet.
[Ghost tends to Mary, who is visibly injured. Rock looks on with concern for a second, then springboards over the top rope with a body press. He rolls Ghost back into the ring and follows him in. Rock gets up and signals to the crowd, which begins to buzz. He lifts Ghost up into the torture rack and slams him with the Death Valley Driver.]
Charlie Watkins - IT’S KINGDOM COME! IT’S ALL OVER!
[Rock goes for the pin…1…2…BAM! Out of nowhere, Johnny Spades has appeared and laid waste to Billy Rock with a steel chair. He picks up Rock, who is stunned, and measures him with the chair. Spades swings the chair down with all his might on the point of Rock’s forehead. Rock is bleeding profusely. Lawrence Rhodes and the Vindicator run down to ringside.]
Terry Hogan - Here comes the cavalry.
[Ghost cuts off Rhodes and they brawl into the crowd. Vindicator and Spades do battle until Grinnin and Janus come down to ringside. Janus picks up the bloody chair. He smashes the Vindicator with it and destroys what’s left of it. Spades grabs a mic from ringside. He holds the mic and pulls Rock up to his knees by the hair. The blood is all over Rock’s face.]
Johnny Spades - How does it feel, Kid?!
[Spades points the knob of the mic toward Billy's mouth]
The Kid
-
Spades - What?
The Kid
-
Spades - Speak up, fool!
The Kid - I said ...
[Rhodes is seen in the background hopping over the security railing in the aisle as Billy lifts his head and locks eyes with Spades.]
The Kid - ... your _f*cked_.
[The arena is instantly submersed in darkness for a brief moment]
Charlie Watkins - What the hell?
Terry Hogan - What's going on?
[The lights return]
[HUGE pop]
Charlie Watkins - OH MY GOD! What's he doing here?! Looks who's in the ring, Terry!
Terry Hogan - Oh no! He's got a chair!
[BANG!] [POP]
[Johnny Spades never saw it coming. The back of his head is bleeding as he lies face down on the mat]
[BANG!]
[BANG!] [POP]
[Grinnin and Janus give Spades company]
Charlie Watkins - BRET REAL has just squashed The Wrecking Crew! Bret Real is back in the SWL, Terry! He's back!
[Bret, Vindicator, and The Kid embrace and raise their arms in the air, standing over The Wrecking Crew as the arena is lit by the pop of flash bulbs. Lawrence Rhodes, however, watches from a distance.]
Charlie Watkins - It seems as though we are out of time... and imagine that, Bret Real is BACK! See you all at the Pay Per View! Until then, keep reaching for those stars!
