My Animals

Spooky was my first dog. She passed away last fall (September 30, 2003) at the ripe old age of 14. She was a wonderful, loving, funny, sweet, smart and very wise dog and I miss her terribly.

One of my cats is a little black/brown tabby named Cleo. She was originally a barn cat, and the fact that I managed to convince my parents to let me keep her is still one of my proudest accomplishments (that's to say, it wasn't easy). She's been worth it, and I'm sure my parents haven't regretted their decision at all! Unfortunately, she decided that she doesn't like moving around with me anymore, so she's taken up permanent residence with my parents.

TOBY!!! He was my Grandma's kitty, but we adopted him after she passed away. We're convinced some of her spirit lingers in him, since he's just a sweet and kind as she ever was. He does not, however, think he is human. He thinks he is a dog. No one can really explain this cat, and we've all given up trying.

I have another cat, a black male (2 years old), named AZI! He was also a barn cat, just like cleo, but from a different barn altogether. Bringing him home was not the best decision I've ever made, but I was was honestly afraid for his safety...he liked to attack horses! (Hence his name, Azi, short for Kamakazi (although I've had at least two Japanese speaking aquaintances inform me that I'm spelling his name wrong. Bite me.) He has a huge personality, and despite his destructive tendencies is very sweet. He's also surprisingly smart...he's already learned a few basic obedience commands and will work for treats!

I just adopted another little cat. He's also black and his name is Ronan. He's a purebred Manx (he has a stub for a tail), and he's quite hilarious. Very affectionate and sweet, and growing like a weed!!

My horse is Poco and she's a quarter horse. I love her very much, I've had her for 11 years and don't plan on ever ever ever selling her. I love her dearly and trust her with everything except another rider (people think she's scary for some reason...beats me!), but because she's getting kind of old, and I've long since outgrown her I've been riding other people's horses for the last several years.

Hopefully I'll get some more, and much better pictures of the animals in my life online soon. Check back if you're interested!
