"The Real World" has not been finished yet but this is as far as I have written.

The Real World

I have been told many times that "That doesn't happen in the real world " or that "Things don't work that way in the real world". These imply to me that I don't live in the real world. So where do I live? If I don't live in the real world, do I truly exist, do my surroundings truly exist or are they just constructs of my mind, my fevered imaginings and if this is so, is that which I imagine the real world. Can my mind open gateways to this mythical realm, "the real world", where once I graduate high school I will be plunged.
