My theory on why the greeting should be "Merry Christmas" and not "Happy Christmas"

Before I begin, I think I better warn people that reading this may alter people's direction in life which could occur in the person committing suicide. I hold no responsibility in any way in the outcome of the reader looking at my article. Anyway, enough with my legal stuff...

This all began long ago (maybe a couple of weeks), when someone said Happy Christmas to someone else. I was confused. No one is ever happy on Christmas day (or Christmas Eve for that matter). Everyone has had too much food and drink in the past 24 hours, and no one is feeling "happy". They might be feeling a bit merry from the alcohol they have consumed, and that's why it should be called Merry Christmas. Now you should use the word Happy when it comes around to Easter time. No one has a piss up on Good Friday or Easter Sunday (except if you're an alco), so people are happy because they don't feel like shit. Now, if one more person says to me "Happy Christmas", I will run up to them, rip out their heart and shove it down their throat, and then we'll see who is happy hey???

And now... Back to Earth (or Cloud 9)
