Turkey Recipe

  1. Basically clean the turkey very well and make sure it's defrosted the night before.
  2. To marinate, get a bucket or large pot half filled with water, flavor it heavily with salt, sugar, basil, rosemary, taragon, and any other spices you fancy. Soak the turkey in there over night (be sure to rotate so that both sides of the turkey gets marinated thoroughly.
  3. Massage the turkey and pound it with a meat tenderizer for about 30 minutes.
  4. Before baking the turkey, mix about 2/3 bowl full of salt/sugar/pepper and rub it all over the bird. Especially in the inside.
  5. Preheat the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees, then place the turkey in the oven (with loose foil covering bird). Allow 1 hour bake time for every 4 pounds. Be sure to rotate the turkey after you baked it half way.
  6. Approximately 45 minutes before the turkey will be ready, stuff it with a mixture of veggies chopped up. That'll help the turkey stay juicy and drip juice onto the pan that you can use for your gravy.
  7. Then glaze the turkey, mix malt sugar (or honey) with some dark soy sauce and a couple drops of vinegar. Dropping a bit of olive oil in it is good too. You can nuke it up to melt it before applying it onto the turkey. Turn up the heat a bit to 450ish, and let it turn to a color you like. Now turkey is ready to serve.
