I was just thinking, (as I was working on my Cheesy
Ripoff Of The X-Files Soundtrack Project) that it would be kind of
nifty to have a soundtrack for life. You know, like when something scary
happens you have scary music, and when you're thinking you play the Jeopardy
theme...... okay that one's just TACKY. But anyway, here's what I've come
up with so far for a soundrack for MY life.
Format is as follows:
Barenaked Ladies
It's All Been Done "Stunt"
Karen and I saw David Duchovny on Leno singing this with the Barenaked
Ladies.. and it's kind of become our little group song since then!
Bree Sharp
David Duchovny "A Cheap And Evil Girl"
David Duchovny, why don't you love me? 'Nuff said.
America "A Cheap and Evil Girl"
I sold my privacy to be pretty.... NOT!
Four
Non Blondes
What's Up? "Bigger, Better, Faster, More"
I walk around saying What's Up? a lot, and besides, I'm trying to crash
the brotherhood!
Green Day
Time of Your Life "nimrod"
Kind of a goodbye to all the things I've had to leave, saying I've
had the time of my life doing it, like synchro or soccer, or leaving middle
school or elementary school.
Indigo
Girls
Closer to Fine "?"
I've spent 8 years prostrate to the higher mind and I'm getting sick
of it.
Shame on You "?"
Because people always tell me I should shape up. I havn't yet!
John Debney
Themes to 'seaQuest DSV,' and 'The Cape'
Two of my favorite shows... I love the themes and have wandered around
singing them for days on end before!
"Beneath The Surface Lies The Future," "ASCAN Trivia... go!" (if you've
seen either of theses shows you should get this.)
Natalie Merchant
Wonder "Tigerlilly"
Describing my life. I'm over your head/I confound you/And Astound you.
Sarah MacLachlan
I Will Remember You "Surfacing, Mirrorball"
saying goodbye to all the friends I've made that I'm not gonna see
again because they're somewhere I'm not.
Spin Doctors
Two Princes "?"
It's just an awesome song... I don't know! IT's one of those songs
that could be played while you were working or just walking!
Sugar Ray
Every Morning "14:59"
What we sing when we have nothing else to sing!
