Glamourized Pants
I have long legs, and it's hard for my to find pants that are long enough for my legs, so with these pants, I decided to add a ribbon.  I already bought the ribbon beforehand, and then I bought the pants.  When I came home, I realized that the two colors were kind of similar, so this was a great way to dress up pants and to lengthen them.
Difficulty: 9 if you suck using a sewing machine
4 if you are sewing machine-literate
Approximate Time: 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depends on how much quality you want to put into it

Material
s:
a pair of pants
1 yard ribbon in similar color (glitter is optional; 1 yard for flares but safest bet is 1 1/2 yards to 2)
sewing machine
thread in same color as pants
scissors

Procedur
e:
1)  Put the end of the ribbon at the outside hem, meaning the hem on the outside of your pants.  It is a thick fold in the pants.  Hold bottom of one pant leg around the sewing machine so that the outside hem is facing up.  You will see the fold.
2)  Hold the ribbon parallel to the pant bottom and put the end right at the bottom of the fold.  Hold the ribbon about a centimeter and a half underneath the pants and sew them together.
3)  When you get around back to the beginning of the circle of the pants, that means you have reached the top of the fold.  Finish there and cut the ribbon.
4)  Cut any stray thread.
5)  You will now have a gap between the two ends of the ribbon (shown on the right-hand picture on the left side of it).  This gives more free room to open up.
6)  Do the same for the other pant leg.
