My 17th Birthday

The 17th birthday was definately cool.  It started out with this bunch (Michelle, Bill, Me, Kim):
The colors in the  pic got a bit screwed up.
We hung out at my house for a while.  Watched some t.v., ate some food, chilled with my grandma for a bit, ate some cake.  Here's me cutting my cake.  Notice the cake has "Happy Birthay" written out on it with M&M minis.  :-)  I love my mom!
After we ate the cake, Me, Kim, Bill, and Michelle (the people in the toppest pic) all headed up to Mike D (Michelle's boyfriend)'s house to watch a movie.  We ended up renting Ice Cream Man.  I DEFINATELY recommend that movie for anyone who likes B movies.  It was hillarious!!!  Hanging out at Mike's house was pretty fun.  About halfway through the movie, Karoline and Pat showed up with a surprise present for me.  A bunny!!!!!  Here's a picture of Karoline, Pat, and Mike D.
The thing is, my parents didn't know about this little surprise.  It took much much much convincing before I got permission to actually keep the bunny.  First I went to my dad.  For the first 15 minutes, all he did was repeat the word "No" over and over again.  But we finally talked him into saying "ask your mother".  So, I carried the little baby into the living room to plan exactly how I was going to ask her (she was upstairs).  Little did I know, as I was walking toward the living room, she was coming down the steps.  I didn't have anything prepared as to what I would say to her when she came down, so I hid behind the wall.  She came down, sat in the rocking chair, didn't see me at all, and started talking.  So I snuck up behind her with the rabbit in my hand, and everytime she looked back I would hide the bunny behind the chair.  Here's a picture of that.
Everybody in the room had that look on their face like they were gonna burst out laughing at any second.  Then my sister went and got her camera!  You'd think that would give it away, but my mom still had no clue.  So I said, "mommy I love you!".  And she said  "No!" (her natural responce to the words "mommy I love you")  But she still didn't know about the bunny.  So I walked around the chair and showed her the bunny.  Then she said "NO!" a bit louder, and she refused to pet the cute little thing.  But after much much much convincing, she agreed to let me keep the bunny for a while to see how it worked out (of course everything worked out... just like I had planned).  Here's a picture of me and Bill holding my new little baby, Trixy.
Trixy's about twice that size now, and living in the back room with all our other little cuties.  On top the table, we have pudgy the hampster, rusty the hampster, and weezer the gerbil (the little black one in the pink wheel).  Weezer's the only one on top the table that belongs to me.  Under the table, low and behold, it's little Trixy.  :)

The End.
