NO! NO!

"No, no, Bobby, you can't have that." And Jeannie ran to stop him from taking a knife.

Bobby was angry when the knife was placed out of reach. He screamed and stomped his feet.

But all Jeannie said was, "Stop crying, Bobby; Sister knows best."

Sometimes we ask God for something and we don't understand why God will not give it to us.

The apostle Paul had something that bothered him. (We aren't told what is was.) He asked God three times to take if from him but God said, "No." Paul didn't know just why God refused to do what he wanted, but he knew God loved him very much and had a good reason for not giving him his wishes.

Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
