TRUST GOD

Do you know what it means to endure?
Suppose someone tries to get you to do wrong.
First you say,"NO."
But he says,
"Aw,come on, it's fun."
You stil say "No."
Maybe he makes fun of you,
or even hurts you.
Finally, you do it.
You did not endure.
Maybe you are trying to do something right,
or good,
but is seems too hard,
and you give up.
You did not endure.
Endure means
"Not to give up,
Not to give in."
God promises the crown of life to whoever endures temptation.
Your enemy Satan will tempt you not to trust God --
not to obey Him.
He will tempt you to give up when it's hard to do right.
God is living in you.
He is ready to give you strength to keep on --
to endure--
when you are tempted to give up.
TRUST GOD!

Blessed is the man who endures temptation;
for when he has been approved,
he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Let no man say when he is tempted,"I am tempted by God;"
for God cannot be tempted by evil,
nor does He Himself tempt anyone.

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Then, When desire has conceived,
it gives birth to sin;
and sin,
when it is full-grown,
brings forth death.

Do not be deceived,
my beloved brethren.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from abouve,
and comes down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

James 1:12-17
