Rubber Soul

Rubber Soul

"Rubber Soul" was the third Beatles album to be released in both Britain and the U.S. It was first issued in 1965 by Parlophone Records in Britain and Capitol Records in the U.S.

The title of the album is meant to be a pun on white recording artists who were trying their hand at soul music.

"Rubber Soul" was a milestone in The Beatles' career, as it marked their transition from 'bubble gum' rock-n-roll to a more sophisticated musical presence.
