The Road To Backstreet

"The Backstreet Boys" was a dream that five little boys held in their heart for a long time. They could sing, they could dance, now all they had to do was meet, which they were destined to do.

The Backstreet Boys met in 1993. While Howie D. was trying to succeed as a performer, he went to a vocal coach who later taught AJ a thing or two about his craft.

The coach introduced the two and the legacy of the Backstreet Boys had begun. Then when the two started going to auditions for parts on Nickelodeon and Disney the pair met up with their future little bro, Nick Carter(Thank God!! I Love Him!!). When the trio began singing a capella they knew they had something special. So they went to Lou J Pearlman, who had just started his own destiny, a record label called Trans Continental. Lou also thought they had a special sound, but he felt they were lacking something. So he then introduced them to Kevin Richardson, who at the time was trying his luck at singing at local Disney gigs. He fit in with the three and the trio became a quartet.

Then Kevin called his cousin who was living in Lexington, Kentucky and he told him about the group. Kevin knew Brian had what it took to finish the group and he was on the next plane to Orlando.

When the five sang together it was pure magic, and so was their future together, but that's another story.
