Cookies, Candy & Fudge




Chocolate Covered Cherries


3 Cups confectionary sugar
3 Tablespoons corn syrup
3 Tablespoons margarine

Mix well-- knead into ball--refrigerate to chill
Drain cherries on paper towel--2 medium jars with stems
In double boiler melt 12 oz. chocolate chips with 1/2 cake parfun wax
Cut white filling in half--in half again until you hve pieces large enough to cover cherries.
Flatten piece in your hand and add cherry--wrap white filling around cherry.
Place in freezer until well chilled
Dip into chocolate mix 1 at a time
Place on cookie sheet
Chill in fridge to set
They may be frozen





Peanut Butter Fudge


2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup milk
1/2 teaspoon butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 Cup peanut butter

Boil sugar, mil & butter 5 minutes
Remove from stove, add peanut butter & vanilla
Don't beat too long. Turn into buttered dish
Place in refrigerator
Cut when completely cooled




Brown Sugar Fudge


1 Box Brown Sugar--(light or dark)I prefer the light
2 Cups milk
1 tablespoon butter
pinch salt.....(until she turns black & blue..lol)
1 Jar marshallow fluff
vanilla...approx. 1 tablespoon

Boil until hard ball stage..(must be hard ball stage)
Hard ball stage is when a few drops of the mixture dropped into ice cold water forms hard ball
Beat in by hand 1 jar of marshallow fluff & vanilla
Turn into buttered dish and refrigerate
Cut into small pieces when completely cool
