No Frills Chef's Salad
Shred medium head iceburg lettuce
Dice
3 large tomatoes
l large cucumber
1 medium bermuda (red) onion
8 hard boiled eggs
1/4 lb. domestic ham
1 can medium size pitted black olives (left whole)
1 package of shredded cheddar cheese
Mix well and serve

Sunny Fruit Fiesta
1 cantaloupe melon, halved and seeded
½ honeydew melon, seeded
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup fresh line juice
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon orange flavored liqueur (optional)
1 ½ teaspoons grated lime peel
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup black or red seedless grapes
1. Using a melon baller, scoop flesh from cantaloupe and honeydew into balls; set aside.
2. In a large glass or ceramic bowl, combine sugar, lime juice, lemon juice, orange liqueur and lime peel. Stir well to dissolve sugar. Add the cantaloupe and honeydew balls, strawberries and grapes. Toss gently to combine.
3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to blend flavors, stirring once or twice.
4. Spoon the fruit mixture into serving bowls or hallowed-out melon halves, dividing evenly. Serve immediately.

Homemade Snappy French Dressing
1 cup salad oil
2/3 cup catsup
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup onion, halved
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
dash pepper
In a blender add the salad oil and then all the other ingredients.
Blend on mix until well blended.
Makes approximately 2 1/2 cups of dressing

Potato & Egg Salad
Boil and cool potatoes
Boil and cool eggs
Dice potatoes & eggs into bite size pieces
Dice 1 onion
Mix all together
2 cups of Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
1/4 cup sugar
2 - 3 Tablespoons Frenchs Mustard
Mix together until sugar is dissolved
Pour over potatoes, eggs & onion and Mix thoroughly
Can be served immediately or refrigeratored
Substitues can be made for Miracle Whip and French's. Use the brands that you prefer

Russian Salad Dressing
1 can Tomato Soup
1/3 cup vinegar
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 small onion, quartered
1 cup oil
Put all ingredients in blender EXCEPT for the oil
Mix well
Remove feeder cap and pur oil into mixture in a steady stream and continue to process until thoroughly blended.
Makes approximately 3 cups
