Mariah performed "When You Believe", with Whitney Houston at the Oscar Awards Sunday night. Both wore white dresses and sang a new version of When You Believe. Actually th e versionpewrformed is the original version, before Babyface re - edited it.

"When You Believe", won the Oscar for Best Song from a movie. Congratualtuions Mariah AND Whitney.

Mariah was on the Rosie Show last Thursday. She talked about her new single and performed her new song "I Still Believe". Mariah also hinted that she will be on Rosie in the months to follow to promote her new projects.

"I Still Believe", is now out as a single in stores. It contains the album version and some remixes.

On a sad note the body of Christina Williams was found yesterday in California. This girl disapeared about 7 months ago, and Mariah was involved in the search for her. Mariah did a commecrcial for tv in hope of her return. Mariah released a statement yesterday saying she was greatly saddened by the tragic news and knows that her spirit will carry on through the ones who loved her

Mariah has gotten another movie role. This time with Chris O'Donnel. She will play an Opera singer who has 24 hours to get married. The movie begins production in January 1999

Mariah's other movie in which she plays the female version of James Bond, with actor Chris Tucker will be out in theater's this spring. Mariah will be doing the soundtrack for the movie

Mariah will perform "When You Believe", with Whitney Houston, today on Oprah. Oprah will interview both of them together, a first for the two. This will also be the first live performance of their duet too.

Mariah was in New York City on Tuesday to promote her new cd. She stopped off at Virgin Mega Store and signed autographs and then had a party for her fans in NYC

Mariah will perform at the 1998 Billboard Music Awards on Fox on December 7th.

"When You Believe" is now out on the radio airways.

Mariah was on 20/20 lastnight talking about her divorce, life, and her family. Mariah finally told the truth behind many of the rumors circulating around about her.

Mariah's new album, titled "Number Ones" will hit stores this Tuesday, Novbember 17th. The cd is a collection of her number one songs and four new songs, including the Whitney duet, and a duet with Brian McKnight

Mariah will appear on MTV on Monday at 3:30 for Total Request, and for Mariah TV at 4:30pm. Mariah will premire a new video while on Total Request. The video is suppose to be the "When You Believe" . Mtv is calling next week premire week, with stars such as Mariah, Whitney, Puffy, Jewel, and another star, premiring new videos by N' Sync, Backstreet Boys, and Mariah and Whitney.

"When You Believe", Mariah's duet with Whitney is due out any time now. Mariah's new album has been taken off the release date of November 10th. No new date has been announced.

Mariah is no longer using her last name. On her new song "Sweetheart", with Jermaine Dupri she goes by Mariah. She does the same on her single for "My All/Stay Awhile".

"Sweetheart" is now out on video. MTV has shown it twice already. Mariah doesn't use her last name on the video credit either. The video is very cool looking. Mariah has some good outfits on too.

Mariah and Whitney have recorded their duet called "When You Believe". The song will be the theme song for the upcoming movie "The Prince Of Egypt". The soundtrack will be released in October.

Mariah will be on the Lady Of Soul Soul Train Award Show on September 3rd, and on the 1998 Mtv Music Video Awards Show on September 10th on MTV.

VH1 is now airing what is reported to be the video for Mariah's next single, "Whenever You Call". The video is a look at her Hawaiian Concert Tour.

Mariah was on Rosie O'Donnell on Friday. She performed Close My Eyes, and chatted.

Mariah will release a Greatest Hits Album this October or November. Sony Records and MTV has confirmed it. It will be a cd of her 13 number 1 songs and feature two or three new songs. One new song will be her duet with Whitney Houston.

Mariah has an autobiography coming out in October. The book is about how she lived with her white mother and black father.She also talks about the violence that occured and how her cat was blown up.

Mariah has done a public service announcement, which began broadcasting yesterday on FOX, and other channels. The announcement is for a missing girl fom California, that disapeared from her home recently. The F.B.I and local cops believe she was kidnapped. The girl, Christina Williams, of Monterey County, CA was a huge Mariah fan. Her room is covered with posters of Mariah.If you have any leads that may help the F.B.I. find Christina, please call the F.B.I.

Mariah is set to record another duet with yet another famous name, Whitney Houston. The song will be produced by Babyface, and will appear on the soundtrack for his upcoming movie.

Mariah will release a remix album later this year. The new full length album will be released in March of 99.

Mariah has a new song on the upcoming Jermaine Dupri album due in stores on July 21st.
