What will you have on your walkman this summer?

BRIAN:Tracks from our new album which we're currently working on.If we keep up the pace it should see the light  of day in a few months, hopefully by October. NICK:Metallica's new album plus a bit of Pearl Jam-not really beachy music! I do like it but the boys don't let me play it on the bus!

What's your top tip for keeping cool in the heat?

AJ:Always make sure you wear really cool shades,just like me,and keep right out of the sun when it's really hot. HOWIE:Shorts and stylish short sleeved shirts,and try sipping a long cool drink of iced tea under an umbrella - mmm,lovely....

Do you ever swim in the sea?

NICK: Oh yeah, especially when it's as nice as this.And we swim in the sea all the time in Florida- I guess it's pretty lucky to live somewhere with loads of beautiful beaches! KEVIN:Yes!It's one of the best ways to keep healthy and have loads of fun at the same time.

Who's the biggest BSB beach bum?

AJ:Probably me.I love lazing around and hanging out on the beach.I find it easy just to switch off and forget everything and take in the sun.Yeah, especially when it's as sunny as this! KEVIN:Aj is just Mr. Chill!I like switching off with my walkman,and the others are really into messing around playing beach games.

So what is your favourite beach game?

HOWIE:We all like beach volleyball,but a friend of ours has got a beach basketball court which is just the best! BRIAN:Volleyball,basketball,baseball...We like everything,really.We've even started to play soccer a bit!

What do you do when the sun goes down?

AJ:We just party 'til dawn! NICK:We sit on the beach and look at the stars,then light a fire and have a party.

Do you like sunbathing?

KEVIN:Yeah, but we try and make sure we don't overdo it.Howie and AJ have dark skin so they don't usually burn,but Nick and Brian really have to watch out. BRIAN:I always use loads of sunblock,something like factor 100!There's nothing worse than trying to go to sleep with sunburn.Ouch!

Have you ever been nipped by anything nasty in the sea?

BRIAN:Kevin got bitten by a baby lobster once but he got over it. KEVIN:Yeah! When I was a kid in Florida.It was only a little thing but boy,did it hurt.

Where's your favourite beach?

NICK: Hawaii,where these pictures were taken.As you can see,the beaches were just amazing. AJ: Hawaii.I had the chance to get away and explore with my Mum and we found some amazingly beautiful places- it was heaven...

Who would you like to have on a desert island with you?

HOWIE:Anyone who looks fine and can cook up a feast over a campfire! BRIAN:I think I'd like to be on for my own for a while, but if anyone would like to come with me, they could ask!

What would you bring to eat if you were having a picnic on the beach?

KEVIN:Fresh fruit,fish,sweetcorn on the cob...oh, and some big,thick slices of pizza! BRIAN:...and potato chips. AJ:...and McDonaldds! KEVIN:You can't have a beach picnic with McDonalds!

Which bits of you always burn?

NICK:Sorry, but we're quite careful these days.Brian used to burn his nose badly all the time ,though. BRIAN:My nose used to peel right off!That's why I always use factor 100!!

Are you any good at any watersports?

HOWIE:We're all good at jet-sking and we'll try anything,really.I'm not the best water-skier in the world,though, to be honest. NICK:Howie falls off a lot.I like to though scuba-diving.Is that a sport?

So are you all into scuba-diving?

AJ:Yes,here in Hawaii.The fish were just amazing! NICK:It's fantastic.If I had more time on my hands I'd like to scuba-dive everywhere in the world!

Which would you rather do?Read a book or go paragliding? KEVIN:I think it's safe to say we'd all rather go paragliding!There's a time and a place for books,but you don't get to paraglide every day. BRIAN:Nick would rather play on his playstation than go paragliding,but I don't know about books! NICK:You're right.I'm not a big book freak,but I'd like to be if I had the time.But that doesn't seem likely in the near future!

Finally boys,do you reckon you could be a hero and rescue someone Baywatch style? BRIAN:Kevin could because he's such a great swimmer.The rest of us?Well we'll give it a try!But I wouldn't do it as a second job,though. KEVIN:I'd have a go.But I'd be happier if a trained rescuer took over.If it was life or death,we'd all have a try-you just have to, don't you?
