All families have rules. The rules may be different, but many are the same. Some examples of rules follow.

• Be polite
• Respect your elders
• Clean up after yourself
• Eat all the food you put on your plate
• Always ask an adult to help when using unfamiliar items

The reason families have rules are to protect each other. Even though some rules seem silly, they need to be followed for your safety.
