Through my Electrical Engineering and Computer Science courses, I gained a strong ability to perform quantitative analysis on complex numerical data. My Finance and Economics courses have drawn a very strong interest in and an eagerness to learn about the financial community. Researching at Berkeley, I learned to solve problems methodically as I conducted extensive research regarding the subject, evaluated the benefits and drawbacks in efficiency of different approaches, and produced an automated procedure to assemble the robotic wing. While working for Acegain, I further enhanced these skills of research, analysis, and implementation outside of the laboratory in a professional environment.
Furthermore, I believe my creativity and capacity to lead will enable me to add new perspectives at Random Walk. In seeking to diversify myself beyond my academic work, I steered the direction of my fraternity by heading its recruitment program. Moreover, I learned solid communication and teamwork skills through delegating responsibilities to each member and working with them on those tasks at a variety of venues. At Acegain and at the lab Berkeley, my ability to develop innovative ideas was evident in producing creative solutions to the problems at hand and executing them.
