AND NOW:  THE POD!!!

On June 7, 1981, at 3:42 a.m. in a hospital in Buffalo, NY, a son was born to Tom and Lois Podnar.  That son is the nutcase writing this and all subsequent crap!  Born Christopher Thomas Podnar, the Pod currently lives in Edinboro, PA, during the school year and resides with his family in Aliquippa, PA, during the summer.  The Pod will most likely be working at his church as a janitor this summer.  And now, the history of the Pod!

CHILDHOOD

The Pod moved away from Buffalo when he was two months old and grew up in the Mount Washington section of Pittsburgh.  I would not recommend this place to anyone at the current time!  It has gone from being a decent neighborhood to an absolute s***hole!  I had a few friends in my "hometown" but my main friend was Josh.  I don't know where he is right now, I have not spoken to him for over five years.  I moved out of Mt. Washington in July of 1991, and it was at a good time.  A week after I moved away, a person was murdered a block away from my house!

ADOLESCENCE

From July, 1991, to May, 1994, I lived in Clinton, PA.  Clinton, PA, is your basic little hicktown where the main smell is cow manure, your next door neighbor's house is a five-minute walk, it takes three hours to mow the front lawn, and it takes twenty minutes to get to the nearest store.  It was a great place to live and it still is nice.  I miss that place a lot.  The only thing that I don't really miss is the magnitude of spiders that lived in the basement.  I am not an arachnophobic, but I don't really like spiders.  I guess that's what you get with good-old country living.

From May, 1994, to the present time, my family (and sometimes I) live in a housing complex in Aliquippa, PA.  It is a nice place to live with nice people as neighbors.  My good buddy Bryan lives next door to me, we graduated together and have been through a lot together.  My best friend of all time, Jody, lives a few miles away from me.  Jody and I are practically brothers.  I have known him since 1992 and we have done practically everything together.  I would tell you some of the stuff we have done, but I am not going to incriminate myself!  (I plead the 5th!)

PRESENT

In August, 1999, I packed up my mother's Mercury Mountaineer (A.K.A. Big Blue) with some stuff I'd need for college and drove North on Interstate 79 to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in, you guessed it, Edinboro, PA.  I am currently in my second semester at E.U.P. and have more info in that department on the
College Life Page.
