Welcome!

If you didn't know already, I absolutely love animals, and this adoration is reflected here. I have had lots of real life pets, and recently I have begun to acquire pets that aren't quite so alive. There are two types of pets that one can get by using their computer.

Computer Pets Computer pets are exactly what they sound like: pets that live on your computer. They are several types, each one pretty neat. There are desktop pets, like the infamous sheep, or pets that live in a program. The most elaborate have their own worlds.
I use the computer program Petz. If you don't know what it is, then go to Petz.com to read about them. They're basically either dogs or cats that live on your computer. They eat, sleep, grow, breed, and play, and you get to train and raise them. The better you take care of them, the better they behave. It's a really cute program and pretty well priced. The nice thing about Petz is that you can actually take pics of your petz that turn into bitmaps. So, I posted the pics here on a webpage so the world can see them. There are other programs out there, too.

Cyber Pets Cyber pets aren't as fun as computer pets, but they are the trend for those who have webpages. Computer pets are pets that you adopt and create a home for on your webpage. They add something extra to your page. I think it's a cute idea, so I plan on getting a few of my own. A nice thing about it is the fact that you get a really nice piece of artwork on your site, and it's kind of fun picking out your new pet. They hardly come with any responsiblitlies, either, besides leaving a link back.

Some people just don't get why anyone would have a computer or cyber pet. If you're one of these people, then forget ever learning why. I guess it's sort of the same run of people who never understood why anyone would want a Tamogotchi. Anyways, enough blabbering.

The deep blue and the silver create a mysterious mood that is emphasized with the cuving tendrils and the swirls on the buttons. It really caught my eye while I was surfing.
