Most cosmetic companies put a use-by-date on their products, but if they don't, follow this guide.
| Concealer | Will last up to 12 months |
| Foundation | Water based foundation will last for up to 12 months, oil based foundation will last for up to 18 months |
| Face powder | Will last for up to 2 years |
| Eye liner | Should be sharpened regularly and will last for up to 2 years |
| Lipstick | Will last for up to 2 years |
| Lip liner | Will last for up to 2 years |
| Eye Shadow | Will last for up to 2 years |
| Mascara | Should be discarded after 3 months |
| Nail Polish | will last for up to 12 months depending on the quality |
