    Welcome to my 'Reflections'. My name is Sarah Chan. I am a 39 year old transgendered girl living in the lovely city of Melbourne, Australia. I have spent a good deal of my life living with a medical condition called "Gender Dysphoria", and have only recently identified it through the use of the internet. I came 'out' to my wife, family and friends in September 1998, and following a very stressful and challenging period, have managed to come out more determined than ever to reach other souls in our great community who shares my delibilitating condition.
  Through 'Reflections', I hope to be able to help others like myself, who have had to endure a lifetime living with gender dysphoria. I would also like to tell the world how difficult having this condition can be for a person, their family and close friends. I would like to dedicate this site to all those individuals who have given me their time, patience, understanding, compassion, guidance and shoulder to cry on when I was is my lowest, darkest, and the most confusing period of my life in 1998.
