"Poetry From The Heart"

"No More Tears"
I spend the nights wondering do you see me are you near? Do you feel my pains of lonliness do you try to dry my tears? I close my eyes and imagine that I'm holding you once again. The scent of roses and lavender, the softness of your skin. Memories of days gone bye, your laughter and your smile. I'd cross the bridge of eternity just to hold your hand awhile. Do you remember how much I love you? Can you hear me as I pray? Will you be there to greet me as I sleep my final day? So many memories I have of you resting deep within my heart. But are we still together even though we are apart? I wonder can you tell me when my life is over, will you take my hand in yours, will we dance among the clover? Will you take me to God's mansion through the golden gates above? Will we live there forever in His shelter and His love? Will you say how much you've missed me? Will you wipe away my tears? Will we hold each other gently? In His love we'll have no fears. And when we are together, will we spread our wings and fly? Yes, God's promise is forever and no more will I cry.

"An Angel's Child"
As pieces of heaven fall to the earth, A glorious angel watches her birth. He will protect her from evil at night, He will protect her with all of his might! A toddler races across the floor, As the angel wages a constant war. To keep this child safe from harm, To keep her parents from becoming alarmed. A pretty little girl sings in church. Sounding as sweet as a lark on a perch. It makes the angel swell with pride, Making him glad he's along for the ride. The poor loving Angel begins to cry, As he watches the teenager start to lie. Struggling and lost in a wilderness, Trying her best to get out of this mess. A pretty young woman wades through college, Trying to learn all the required knowledge. The angel watches with a sigh, The dangerous times have passed her by. A pretty young lady meets a nice young man, They fall in love and he asks for her hand. As the angel watches he cries tears of joy, For the gorgeous young bride who loves the boy. From a family of love a baby appears, Helping the angel to remember those years. Back when this lady was still a child, A little girl who had acted so wild. A young patient mother chases her son, Letting him think that he has won, The angel watches as she kisses his head, Then with a smile she tucks him in bed. A married woman starts feeling old fast, As she watches her son leave the past. With comfort the angel keeps her strong, For her son is leaving home for ever so long. A middle aged lady searches with hope, For the life in which she can cope. The angel sees her lost and in need, And influences her to follow his lead. An older lady whose years have flown by, Is watched by the angel as she sits down to cry. Her husband and child have both left this earth, Reminding her of this planet's little worth. An old lonely lady waits to die, As the angel's tears fall from the sky. There is no one left for this lady to love, All she knew rests in heaven above. The angel carries her towards heaven's gate, Where all of her loved ones have joined to wait. The angel's mission is finally through, Now the cycle of life can begin anew!

"Some Day I'll Be With Jesus"
Some day I'll meet with Jesus, I'll see Him face to face. With outstretched arms I'll run to Him, And cling to His embrace. Some day I'll walk with Jesus, I'll stay close by His side. With humble heart I'll follow Him, And through the clouds we'll stride. Some day I'll talk with Jesus, I'll tell Him everything. With reverence I'll listen, And to His word I'll cling. Some day I'll laugh with Jesus, I'll bask in His sweet smile. With gaiety I'll fellowship, And visit for awhile. Some day I'll dine with Jesus, I'll sup with our great Lord. With humble heart I'll eat the bread, And drink of wine that's poured. Some day I'll sing with Jesus, I'll be His finest guest, With my voice I'll lift Him up, And offer Him my best. Some day I'll fly with Jesus, I'll soar with my great King. Oh! The grandeur of it all, The day I get my wings!

"Touch Of An Angel"
I felt an angel's touch today, in the midst of my despair. Twas sent by God, Himself, to say, "be still and know I'm there." To lead through days of darkness, and light your way with love. Be still and know, deep in your heart, I'm reigning from above. I'll lift you when you stumble, I'm with you all the time. I understand and share your pain; remember child of mine. The end is coming quickly; the Lord shall soon appear. To resurrect the righteous ones, I love and hold so dear. And bring them home, into the place, where broken hearts are heealed. And promises I made to you, will finally be fulfilled. This life is but a spot in time, a place for lessons learned. Heaven holds the key to all, your broken spirit yearns. I sent and angel down today, to show my words are true. You're never far, beyond the arms, of all God's love for you.

"In The Midst Of Grief"
We often ask why when we struggle with grief, and wonder if God really hears Though He doesn't answer in ways we could chose, you can trust He is sharing your tears.
He knows your confusion, your anger, and pain, He experienced them all at the cross, When His Son shed His blood, for you and for me, God knew the true meaning of loss.
He will sustain you with mercy, with grace and with love, till the day we will all meet again, In our real home, in Heaven, free of sickness and death; free of suffering, anguish and pain.
What a beautiful day, when we meet them all there; oh, the joy, oh, the glory and love. God will dry every tear, He will mend every heart, in our real home, in Heaven above.
