Chapter 2
It was at least 500 feet high. "No way that thing could have been built four weeks ago!" "It wasn't." "AAAHH! Where'd you come from? Who are you? What do you want?" " My name is Tetsu" he answered, "I live far from here. I know of your mission because I was sent by the King." "Why?" James asked. "To help you on your quest. You have to concentrate on moving the bomb so I was sent to guard you. I am the best warrior in the land." "Great! Someone to talk to! Should we rest before we go in there?" James said as he pointed at the Generator. "Yes, we will try tonight when there are more monsters and animals sleeping. You rest while I take watch duty." Tetsu said.
James woke to pitch-black night. "Let's go" Tetsu said. They got to the core with no problem.
"Set it now, James." As James was about to, a dark form congealed out of the shadows. "What do you think you're doing?" an evil voice asked. "Blowing this place sky high. Who are you?" said Tetsu. "I am the great Zarbon, commander of this facility and I'm about to destroy YOU." "That's what you think. James! Get it going and get out of here!" "But what about you?" "Forget me! Get going! This is what I have to do!" James set the bomb but did not leave yet. He wants Tetsu to live.
"Let's get this started, Zarbon." Tetsu's attack was amazing. He moved like the wind. Here one moment, gone the next. Zarbon was not as tough as James thought he would be. Finally, with both combatants bruised, scraped, cut, and definitely injured, Tetsu got his chance to destroy Zarbon. With a bright flash of light and a crackle of fire Zarbon burst asunder from Tetsu's fireball. Tetsu was almost dead from the fight but James ran from his hiding place to help him. "No, go on James!" "I won't leave without you!" "I'm almost gone, let me go James." With that last breath, Tetsu died fighting for James and for all of planet Earth.
When James got back, a parade and lots of cheers greeted him. The King was next to him and said, "Pretty nice, eh?" James didn't answer; he was lost in thought. Later that day with songs playing about his great adventure (which was pretty fast for the minstrels of Drake Castle) and seated next to the King on his dais James was asked what he wanted from the King in compensation for his great deed. He replied, "That you and your armies keep this kind of thing from happening again."
