We spent several days in the "Honeymoon Capitol of the World" - Niagara Falls.

We also spent a couple of days in Niagara on the Lake, which is a quaint little town in the Niagara Region.

This photo was taken on  the main street of Niagara on the Lake, which is lined with old hotels, like this one, restaurants, and my favourite - boutiques.

As you can see, the spring flowers (tulips, daffodils, and crocuses) were in full bloom.

This was also taken on the main street in Niagara on the Lake.  This is one of the older, more expensive hotels in the area.

Spring is a wonderful time of year to spend in the Niagara region.  The weather was absolutely beautiful, and we were able to walk everywhere.

This photo of Bob was taken overlooking the whirlpool.  If you feel brave, you can get on a cable car that travels above the whirlpool.

As you can see, this is Bob and I overlooking the great (Canadian) Niagara Falls.  The mist from the falls travels quite a distance, and you can get pretty moist just walking on the sidewalk.  At one point it was almost like walking through the rain.

We took a walk over to see the greenhouse, which provides the flowers for Niagara Falls.  There was quite an assortment of exotic plants inside.  As you can see, the trees were in full bloom.

We took a ride on the Maid of the Mist, something neither of us had ever done.  It was absolutely fantastic to be right down inside the Falls.  The roar of the mighty waters was deafening.  It was very cold down there, and we got very wet.  This photo overlooks the Bridal Veil Falls, which is part of the American Falls.
