All of these poems have been made by me

Hand in Hand

I'm looking for something more than this
Some better place, some eternal bliss

Why do we act this way? It's crazy
Our destiny is hazy

I can not consume
The reality of doom

Fate seems like a game
I cannot be tamed

It's now or never
I'll show them I'm clever

They'll have to believe
They wont be decived

No, not by me
In their ignorance they can't see
They can not comprehend
So their ways they cannot mend
Ignorance and bliss both stand
Hand in Hand

Greed is a parasite to life
Joy is balanced out with strife

I wont make a difference, I'm just the same
Killing a thousand wont break the chain

They must reailize their purpose here
Lest they loose the dreams they hold so dear

They must lift this veil from their face
Or it's ignorance that will replace
The truth that they all must see
To balance with their lies equally

I'm chained up to this ground
Spoon fed what is found
It's hard to filer out the truth
But it loosens up my noose
From what holds me back,
Though I'm still intact
I can never stand to be decieved
Into believing lies they they percieve
As the truth, and so much more
With pure words I will score
One minute of pure bliss..
As they realize they've been amiss
In their morals, their way of life
Hand in hand come joy and strife

The world seems out of order
My life seems one day shorter
Each time I see a suicide
They think their pain will not abide

But what am I to do?
I cannot hide from what is true
Is this pain worth it? I will not know
Until the day I die comes to show
But until then I'm contented to understand
That truth and lies come hand in hand

Earths Lullaby
Modeled after Poet Bashu

Feel the ocean swells
Lulling us to sleep gently
This is mother earth

Taco
He takes a seed between his paws
Sniffs it daintily..
Checks it for flaws
Seeing none he begins to chew.
I look at his fur, beautifully colored
White, with an orange hue
Finished eating, he begins to drink
His huge sparkling eyes
Seem never to blink.
Taco
He stares at me for a second
As though he had something to say
"Hold me", He now beckoned
So opened his cage with a flourish
And looked at that beloved hamster
Which I could happily nourish
He pleaded with his eyes up at me
I scooped him between my hands
My mind full of glee
We played all day, his favorite game
Running from hand to hand-
It never became lame
Everyone else thought I was weird
To have befriended a hamster
"That's stupid" They leered
Yet forever my friendship stayed strong and true
To that beloved hamster,
No one ever knew

Even after he did die
I thought of how sweet of a friend he was
Never to me did he lie
Although he was merely a ball of fuzz
It hurt so much..
He meant a lot to me
When I buried my best friend
Under a walnut tree

In loving memory of Taco
I'm still thinking of you

The Secret of the Sky Serpant
I was walking home one day
Through seas of grass
An' under the canopy of may
When I saw a remarkable creature
At first I thought it was a grey cat
But it's tail was that of a rat
It had feathers like a raven
And was as big as a lamb
It was likely from some haven
It crushed a freshwater clamb
As it crouched over a silver pool
It had no reflection
It would surely win any duel
It seemed to sense detection
It averted it's gaze from the water
And turned it's head in my direction to stare
As we met gazes, I felt hotter
It decided it had had it's full share
And it flew off above the trees
Clutching in its talons a fish
I watched it with a shaking in my knees

Orange
Orange is a persons' least idoled dreams.
Orange is light, life, and love
Orange is darkness, death, and death
Orange is pain, joy, and preservance
Orange is the color of magic
Orange is the fire that lives within us
Orange is the sky during a summers sunset
Orange is the flame that burns us
Orange is a splash of feeling
Orange is the color of thoughts
Orange is the sky over a planet of tears
Orange is the color of contradiction
