The Dance
Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared 'neath the stars above.
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known
That you'd ever say goodbye.
And now....
I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end,
The way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance,
I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance.

Holding you, I held everything
For a moment, wasn't I a king.
But if I'd only known how the king would fall.
Hey, who's to say,
you know .. I might have chanced it all.
And now...
I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end,
The way it all would go.
Our livesare better left to chance,
I could have misssed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance.

Yes, my life is better left to chance.
I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance.

Sometimes, it is difficult to perceive beauty in another person or even in ourselves. In every face - even in the plainest and the most unfortunate countenances - there is some precious aspect of the divine image of which we are all a reflection, and if you look with an open heart, you can see an awesome beauty, a glimpse of something so radiant that it gives you joy.
I am not JUST the 6, 7, or 12 letter name on your screen.
I am not JUST the voice at the other end of the telephone line.
I am not JUST one of the pictures posted on a web page.

I AM a real, live, breathing, emotional human being with the capacity of feel the full range of human emotions: love, hurt, pain, desire, sorrow, happiness, loneliness, joy, despair, hope.

I really DO laugh out loud.
I really DO cry real tears.

So next time you see me in chat
Or next time you talk to me person to person....
remember.....

I AM real life.
