Cycling

If there was ever a case where I was allowed to only partake in one activity then cycling would be it. Cycling gives me piece of mind and an avenue for me to get away from everything and just push myself to the limits. I could ride for days if I was capable, it's just so peaceful. I ride 95% of the time onroad on either my Miele Uno LS road bike(and if you have any information on this bike then I would be very insterested in hearing from you), or my Giant Iguana Mountain bike. My mountain bike is a better bike for me as it has a better riding position for me and I can reach faster speeds on it. My maximum speed on my mountain bike that I have reached was 63 Kilometers per hour. I have attained about 56.7 km on my road bike. The longest I have travelled on my mountain bike is 113 km, it took 6 hours and I was dead tired afterwards. The farthest I have travelled on my road bike stands at 95 km, when I rode to London. It took a little more then 3 hours to complete that ride for me. To date this year I have travelled 47 kilometers (August 19, 1998). That is 47 km on the mountain bike and 0 km on the road bike.
The next bike that I buy will be a Rowbike. It is contrary to a traditional bike in that you get power to the wheels through rowing instead of cycling. You move your armsas well as your legs. It's kinda like a rowing machine that travels. They are really neat and designed by Scott Olsen the inventor of Rollerblades. hen send me some mail and I can get you the info.
