Tupac Amaru Shakur!

One of the greatest rappers to eva live...We love ya Tupac...RIP

This page is dedicated to my favorite rapper TuPac Shakur! Below are some facts about the life of Tupac, and at the bottom of the page a link to my Tupac picture page!!! :o)

Tupac Shakur was born in Brookly, NY in 1971. Early in his life, he moved to Baltimore , MD, where he attended The Baltimore School for the Performing Arts. At this school, Tupac left a lasting impression on his teachers and was showing tremendous potential. Unfortunately, Tupac was unable to continue his training. He moved to Oakland, California with the rest of his family. That's when Tupac began to, as he called it, "Hang with the wrong crowd." Not held back by his lack of formal education, Tupac joined the Rap group Digital Underground as a dancer. Not long before the group achieved award winning success, Tupac released his own album "2pacallypse Now", which was also a success. The hit single "Brenda's Got A Baby" brought Tupac's career to another level. His ootstanding talent also got him a role in the motion picture, "Juice". Tupac eventually released a second album "Strictly for my Niggaz," which was an even bigger success.

In 1994, Shakur appeared in the movie "Above the Rim", and ThugLife's album Volume I was relesed featuring Tupac. Tupac was convicted to a 15 day jail sentence for assault against the "Menace II Society" director and then he was faced with sexual harresment charges, where he and his tour manager supposebly raped a young female fan. The day before the verdict was to be delivered Tupac was shot, and the day after he was shot, he was sentenced to 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 years in prison. As Tupac was serving his jail time, his 3rd solo album "Me against the World", went to number one on the billboard charts.

After approximently 8 months in jail, Tupac was released on bail. Tupac signed with Death Row records shortly after, and began working on hi 4th album, "All Eyez on Me", which also went to number one on the billboard charts. Before his death, Death Row released his 5th album "The Don Kulliminati: The 7 day Theory", and starred in 3 more movies, which were: "Bullet", "Gang Related", and Gridlock'd". In October of '97, Shakur's 6th album, "R U Still Down", was released. On September 13, 1996, the world lost in my opinion, the greatest rapper to ever live, due to gunshots. This goes to prove the world we live in, and you can't always believe what you see or hear. There was more to Tupac then all the media BS. Im my eyes, he is a legend and role model to all...
You are missed Tupac...We love ya!
