This page is lovingly dedicated to the memory of a very special young man. Erik or as he was known to me in chat land, Toyman, was a free spirited and a courageous 14 year old. For the entire time I knew him he was fighting for his life battling leukemia. You could never tell this though from just merely chatting with him. He was always cheerful and so very full of life. He often times was the one to bring me out of a blue mood with his charm and quick wit. Erik was the most courageous person I ever met, and though he was only 14, he possesed a wisdom that went well beyond his years. I can only imagine how terribly much his family misses him, as I know not a day goes by that I dont think of him. I wish for his family and especially for his mom Debi, peace in the knowledge that Erik is no longer in pain and can once again do all the things that he was unable to do here on Earth. For me, I find peace knowing that someone as special as my Toyman is smiling down on all of us, and sometimes I chuckle, knowing that heaven will never quite be the same!!

Little Angels
When God calls little Angels to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love,
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold.
So he picks a rose bud, before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but a few,
To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult, still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows, will always be "goodbye".
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
And angels are hard to find.
