The Strangeness that IS Kat

Personality:




My friends describe me as an odd person. Well, they don't actually use the word "odd." It's more like "weird." I, like many other people, have a dual nature. On the outside, I am stubborn, outgoing, friendly, flirtatious, sometimes hot-tempered, cynical, sarcastic, curious, and have a "devil may care" attitude.



On the inside, I am romantic (often times hopelessly so), loyal (my best friends have dubbed me their bodyguard. I would unquestioningly die for a number of my friends should the situation arise), defensive,



wear my heart on my sleeve, trusting, a good listener, somebody people feel they can trust right off, honest, caring, and faithful.



Like many people, I have covered my rather sensitive and gullible interior with a more forbidding exterior, and the sad fact of my life is that I find it hard to unconditionally trust people anymore.



But people who see beyond my exterior and appreciate me for who I am oftentimes find a good and long-standing friend they can depend on. Some of my other personality quirks include a tendency towards moodiness, an intense dislike of people who lie or beat up on other people, procrastination (sometimes), a tendency towards tomboyishness (born and raised one so I'm feminine when I want to be, but I mostly mix the two in one form or another), it takes a lot to get me offended, a macabre sense of humor (must be all the horror stories I read), and being talkative when I get nervous.
