All fans of the movie/actor should get/read this book. All non-fans should get/read it anyway. It's amazing. It's not the book of the film: it's the book of the making of the film and it's really interesting. Then again, maybe those who hated the film should steer clear...
I won't give the blurb, coz the book is huge and the blurb covers the whole of the back cover.

Click here to order "Princess" by Jean Sasson

An insight into the life of the women behind the veils. Sultana is a Saudi Arabian princess. This is the story of her life in the repressive Arabian society that exists in the Middle East. It's pretty horrifying, and I think all females will sympathise with her.

Click here to order "Princess Sultana's Daughters" by Jean Sasson

Sultana's story continues in this sequel, in which her three children feature prominently.

Click here to order "Chat" by Nan McCarthy

An internet acquaintance that gets blown slightly out of proportion, and out of control. Max and Bev meet on the internet (well, Max e-mails Bev). Bev is happily married, so she's sceptical. The story continues from there. This book is written completely in e-mails and chats, which gives it an impersonal quality, and lends to the finishing twist. Very funny.

Click here to order "Connect" by Nan McCarthy

Max and Bev continue in the sequel to Chat. Still hilarious, still confusing, still brilliant.

Click here to order "Crash" by Nan McCarthy

A last installation in the lives of Max and Bev. And yes, frustratingly, it is the last.
