Deuteronomy 4:24 "For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God."
Isaiah 66:15-24 "For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD. For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."

*Use caution when you pray for revival. God's fire does much in the way of removing those things that are not sanctified and purified by His glory. Pray for revival to start in your soul first and remain open for the changes that must take place inside of you. Keep an open ear and be obedient to do what the Lord speaks to you.
God is not looking for perfection. He is looking for holy. You have to remove those things from your life that you would not set at his feet as an offering to Him.
Would you set the television programs or movies that you watch at the feet of the Lord? What about the books you read? The words you speak?
Your offering, or sacrifice of praise, must come forth to the house of the Lord in a clean vessel. When you come into the house of the Lord, or the church house if you will, to offer unto the Lord praises are you a clean vessel? Have you removed those things from your life that are not pleasing to the Lord.
I know we are saved by grace and not by works but there is not going to be any garbage brought into heaven. All the junk in your life that you are aware of has to be removed. You cannot keep alcohol, drugs, or unnatural sex acts in your house and expect God to dwell in it also.

Hebrews 12:27-29 "And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire."

*The Lord will shake you till those things that are in your life that are not acceptable to Him are removed. And the only things left are those things that are holy in His eyes.
When you are going to do something or look at something or say something you must first stop yourself and ask "What would Jesus do?". Make sure those things in your life bring glory to God and His kingdom. After all we are a kingdom people. So lets act like it.

1 Peter 2:9 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"

*You are chosen, royal, holy, and peculiar. For those reasons darkness should have no place in your life. All things that you do should shine brightly before the throne of God. He has not called you to stay in the darkness made by satan. Shine forth for the kingdom of God!
