EXPERIENCE

Communications Manager, U.S. Army Military Intelligence 1998 – Present

Managed the planning and integration of communication and automation systems in an organization with over 300 customers.  Responsible for all troubleshooting procedures, integration of hardware, software and peripheral equipment for all systems. Managed automation procedures, accountability and assisted with the implementation of computer security and life cycle management.

Communications Manger, Operation Joint Endeavor (Bosnia) 1997 - 1998

Managed a team of eight communications technicians supporting Operation Joint Endeavor in Bosnia–Herzegovina. Responsible for the installation and maintenance of Lightweight Transceivers Satellite (LST 5E), Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) and Telephone Secure Units (STU III). Planned and implemented the Satellite architecture that passed vital secure voice and data information. Responsible for programming frequencies in Motorola vehicle mounted and Handheld radios. (Awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal)

Communications Manager, U.S. Army Military Intelligence 1995 – 1997

Managed all communications activities and supervised the management of a Local Area Network (LAN) with over 200 customers. Managed personnel on establishing users accounts, generating, passwords and troubleshooting procedures. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of all communications, automation equipment, security of encryption devices and destruction of classified material.

Drill Sergeant, U.S. Army, Basic Combat Training 1993 – 1995

Performed duties as the senior Drill Sergeant for Initial Entry Training (IET) soldiers. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising training; managing and accounting for soldiers; counseled soldiers to assist in their transition into the military and mentored newly assigned junior drill sergeants. Provided leadership and ensured compliance with all regulations.
