Don't feel bad, every time I try to tell somebody that Im making a web page devoted to avatars they never know what the hell I'm talking about. Here is an avatar:

It's just a tiny image that you can download from this site. You can then use it to represent yourself in Virtual Places. Dammit, now I've brought up another question:

Virtual Places is a chat program. It's completely free and easy to use. I cannot begin to tell you how cool Virtual Places is. You use avatars to represent yourself and a speech balloon will pop up when you talk. It's comes highly recomended, you'll just have to try it for your self.
