I zigged when I should have zagged at Albuquerque, of course... ;) I started playing acro in October of '99, after having bookmarked the site about a year earlier... Had a couple of uneventful nights playing and was getting frustrated with the rampant immaturity in the 20-somethings rooms, so I figured what the heck? I'll be 30 someday (27 at the moment, for the curious), why not try 30-somethings... and was hooked right away! The players were fun and goofy, but not *annoyingly* immature. (That's a compliment dammit!) I made a number of friends those first few nights in the 30's rooms and have made many more since, though I don't play as often as I used to -- or nearly as well as I used to, for that matter! Recently met an acro-bud in person for the first time and am hoping to have the opportunity to meet more friends in the future! What else to say? I'm single (don't all rush at once! LOL), like to play and watch various sports, and am incredibly humourous and intelligent, despite the impression I may have made in the game rooms. *grin* Oh, before I forget, and since I'm asked fairly often... Why all the 9's in my ID? As you can see above it's taken from my yahoo-mail address (with the '+' added thanks to that ridiculous re-registration thing a few months back and a lost password), and when I signed up for yahoo-mail shorter things were already taken... I played yahoo trivia for a while so when I signed up for acro I figured I'd use the same name so anyone from yahoo trivia who also played acro would recognize me. So now you know! (Since I haven't played yahoo trivia in a long time I've just added the ID *Matt so my friends will have an easier time /msging me in the game!) |
