WOO HOO!!!! =) I am so excited to be here...this is my first attempt at homepage creation starting in June 1997! It has been a long, adventuresome, fun, educational, "pulling my hair out" journey! (Amy pinches herself to make sure she is not dreaming...**OUCH**) Some of you might say "whoopie" but it is a big deal to me! ;)

Before you get to know me a bit better, I want to thank those people for making this possible for me...

BILLY...my dear hubby! =) Thanks for all the patience you have had with me working on this homepage & especially my love for the Internet...I know there were times you wished we hadn't hooked up the Internet. ;) I know you are enjoying this! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

By now you already know I am AMY. A proud ! 37 is my branded age but on some days I feel much younger or older! I hail from the beautiful state of KENTUCKY where you can find "fast horses, bourbon and beautiful women!" as they say. I shall add "handsome men", too! *smirk* GO BIG BLUE for the University of Kentucky Wildcats! In case you wonder, yes that is me in that computer you see typing away below. ;)

I am deaf and I come from a strong deaf background that goes back several generations. The same thing goes for my hubby, Billy. We are proud deafies! =) Check out my alma mater, KENTUCKY SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF and Billy's alma mater, FLORIDA SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF. We attended GALLAUDET UNIVERSITY. Billy graduated and I hope to fulfill my desire to finish college one of these days. =) I am a domestic engineer since last year! I love that position name! A woman said that in "Gallaudet Today" magazine and I fell in love with that alternate name for housewife! ;) (**Amy dreams** if we, domestic engineers got paid, we would be filthy rich!)

We have Hand symbol for 2 beautiful kids, Brooke & Kyle. Brooke is 7 and Kyle is 5. With our extensive deaf backgrounds, we were naturally very surprised when our kids arrived in this world hearing! We were so sure our deafness would be passed down. Of course, they are bilingual with no question! It is so cute to see them sign with their small hands! =) So it puts all of us in two worlds...Deaf & Hearing...which is very educational for everyone involved.

**Be sure to see the "actress" side of me in my new CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD page on my main page! YES, I can act! ;) AND I was in another play, "The Octette Bridge Club" in Spring 1998 as well!**

I can't live without my beloved E-mail either! It is really KEWL to meet all those people from all over the world through this computer of mine!! AMAZING indeed! The Internet is a bottomless pit of all kinds of information & I love to "surf"! =)
