I don't want to download the VB5 runtime files if I already have them. How do I tell?

Open the Windows Explorer application, and go to your "System" directory. This is normally "c:\windows\system" if you have Windows 9x, or "c:\WinNT\System32" if you're running Windows NT.

Now look for the file "msvbvm50.dll". If you find it, you have the runtime files. If not, might be time to download them from here or here or here!
