Yes,
they really do have tulips in Holland. Traveling through
the Netherlands by train the countryside glows with field
after field of tulips. What you are not prepared for is "The Killing Fields." Large cutting machines work through the fields chopping the heads off the flowers so that the bulbs can be harvested and sold to suburbanites in America. |
