NOTE - Lucky is still 'dead', Jason was never shot, Liz is still
living at
home.

Emily approached Elizabeth just as she was leaving Kelly's.
"Hi Liz, how are you?" Emily asked
"Oh, hi Em, I'm okay, I guess, you?" Liz said as she put on her coat
"I'm good. Can you hang around for a minute?" Emily asked
"Yeah, sure" Liz smiled
They both went sat down, and orderd two hot chocolates.
"So what's new, Em?" Liz smiled
"Not too much, just trying to get my Christmas shopping done!" Emily laughed
"That's pretty last minute! You know it being Christmas Eve and all!" Liz
laughed
"I know, I know, but it's done now!!" Emily laughed
"You know I still can't believe I have to spend Christmas with Carly, how
sick and bizzarre is that!" Emily joked
Elizabeth just laughed
Emily turned serious on her
"Elizabeth, how are you really?" Emily asked quietly
Elizabeth's tears welled up, "Em, I'm barely hanging on, I just have to stay
strong, you know. Lucky wouldn't have wanted me to be sad during Christmas"
Emily got up and sat right next to her, rubbing Elizabeth's back.
"I know this is hard, I'm so sorry Liz" Emily said tearing up as well
Elizabeth put on her strongest face, "Come on, Em, lets get out of here"
"Alright" Emily answered as they both got up and headed for the door
"So where to?" Em asked
"Let's go to the hospital" Liz smiled
"Oh, yeah, we can help hand out the presents" Em smiled
They both headed off to GH. As they were walking a cold shiver crept up
Elizabeth's spine.
"Whoa" Elizabeth smiled
"What?" Em asked
"I just got the biggest cold shiver down my spine" Elizabeth answered
"Really? Are you cold?" Em asked
"No, that's the weird part" Elizabeth smiled
"You know what they say, if you get three cold shivers in one day, something
good will come to you!" Emily laughed
"That would be nice" Liz smiled
LATER at GH, Emily & Elizabeth were just finishing up giving out the
presents
"Here you go, Merry Christmas" Elizabeth said as she handed the little girl
a present
The little girl thanked her and ran off with the other kids.
"Whoa" Elizabeth laughed
"What? Another one?" Emily smiled
"Yeah, that was seemed worst" Elizabeth laughed
"Good! One more to go!!" Emily joked
"Oh god, Elizabeth, I gotta go, Mom and Dad are expecting me home, I'll call
Reginald to come and pick us up and drop you off" Emily said as she pulled
her cell phone out of her purse and dialed
[Authors note:I know you can't use cell phones in hospitals, but it
fanFICION right?!]
In no time Reginald was there. They headed over to Elizabeth's house.
"Thank you Reginald! Merry Christmas!" Elizabeth smiled
"And a Merry Christmas to you!" Reginald said
Emily got out with Elizabeth and they both hugged.
"Merry Christmas!" Emily smiled
"Merry Christmas, Emily" Elizabeth smiled
"Call me soon!" Emily smiled as waved as she got back into the car
Elizabeth waved and turned to walk into the house. Another cold shiver
grabbed her spine. Elizabeth smiled, "That's three, so what will happen to
me?"
Audrey was still finishing up at the hospital, she had agreed to stay late
that night so she could get Christmas day off. Elizabeth went upstairs and
got changed. She sat down on her bed and turned on her tape player. A
formular voice filled the air.

Keep a little prayer for me in sight~~
As soon as she heard those words she couldn't hold it in any longer. Her
eyes almost burst with tears. She held her palms up to her face and curled
up into a little ball on her bed.
"Oh, Lucky!!" ELizabeth cried
"Lucky..."
The tape had continued to play...

"No! Lucky you won't!!" Elizabeth continued to cry
Elizabeth was so lost in a daze, she didn't even notice that she had left
her window slightly opened. A figure made it way into her room, without her
even noticing.
"Elizabeth, go to sleep I wanna watch you breath. I wanna feel God's
peace..." The voice sang
Elizabeth slowly pulled her palms down from her eyes
"All I want is this, Elizabeth" The voice continued
Elizabeth got up, her back still towards the figure.
"No, it can't be" She said as she slowly turned around
Elizabeth felt completely weak in the knees, "Lucky, is it really you?"
Lucky stepped over to her with tears in his eyes, he nodded and without a
word he pulled her into the most passionate kiss they had ever experienced.
Lucky wrapped his arms around Elizabeth's waist, never wanting to let go and
Elizabeth pulled him closer as she locked her arms around his neck. Time
stood completely still for them. Finally the both pulled away breathlessly,
still in each others arms and their forheads resting against each other.
"Lucky, but how?" Elizabeth questioned still wondering if it was a dream
"Shhh...I'll tell you later, lets just stay like this, please" Lucky smiled
Elizabeth hugged him tightly
"Lucky, I've missed you so much, I was barely living. I wasn't living I was
just going through the motions of living" She said as tears welled up
"I know, baby, I know, it was the same with me. You were the only reason I
survived and escaped. I love you, so much" Lucky said with his voice laced
with emotions
"I love you too, Lucky Spencer, please don't you ever leave me again"
Elizabeth said with a tear running down her face
Lucky kissed her tear away, "Never"
