I see Jewel Kilcher (whom I absolutely adore and idolize), and I think to myself, "Now she's really got it together." She's spiritual and vibrant and lively and everything I could ever dream of being. Normally, I idolize people based on sheer physical beauty alone. To begin with, I didin't see the fascination with Jewel; she wasn't "pretty." Now, I find her completely and absolutely gorgeous! It all started with her book of poetry. My sister gave it to me as a gift for my 20th birthday. I instantly fell in love with her. Her mind fascinates me. I find myself overwhelmingly mesmerized by her very existence. Her life and love and artistry are beyond words. Pure inspiration. ...And imperfect perfection. She's the type of person I want as my best friend -- someone who challenges me mentally and forces me to contemplate things I wouldn't have otherwise. She makes me look at things from different angles. There's no one like her in my life, and she's the very thing I've craved all along.
