This terrific photo, and "Mayan 2" also on the website, was take by Susan (the girlfriend) at the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza.

This ruin is one of the many government and religious buildings that are so well preserved at Chichen Itza. There were no living quarters within the main city area -- residents lived outside.

Chichen Itza is located about three hours inland from Cancun. There is an interstate-type road that will take you there -- for a $15 toll.
